I for one actually just like this hack. A fake news title. I have seen this before. The hacker was nice enough to warn everyone about the thunderdome with this before everyone was teleported.

Its innovation. Sure it has zombies, and they are an easy plot device, but the fact that this game is they only one of its kind. I've never seen a survival game like this, where you have this gigantic map and you have to scavenge everything to survive. Were there are other players and you have no idea if they are going to kill you or let you go on your way.. The fact that you can come back from the game and tell your friends the actual adventure you had in the game.Only problem I have now with it is the map Chernarus. Before it was new and exciting, I had no idea were to go and everything was new. Now because I have played it so much that feeling of exploration is gone. It's fine though the game is still fun and there are other new maps to explore.

Okay well it's fine if you don't know this but I am going to show you regardless if you do or not.

I cringed everytime you said clip. What sniper was he using?

Rather then finding 30 round mags all the time for a gun why not make it more scarce? How about sometimes you find just the mag. No bullets in it or anything. Or sometimes you can find some bullets lying around and you can put them in the mag. Or possibly just finding a bullet and loading it into the chamber of the gun. That way you can have lets say 30 single shots, and everytime you shoot you have to reload for the next shot. Or make it possible to find casings, and find the actual bullet itself(from a dead body) and use a toolbox to put it back together. That way in the middle of a fight, you can pick up the casings your gun drops and if the battle is one, go get the bullets from his body or something of that nature. I believe this would change the game quit a bit if added. I feel like I am forgetting something, if you can add on to it please do so.

I am tired of all these technical zombies. I just want them to come out from their graves and just be undead. I don't need an explanation or a t type virus. Just zombies.

I just don't like the fact that if I pick up a wheel or engine it works for ANY car. I want some variety in that at least.

Trust me I hate it to, but I simply meant retextures, or possibly map editors, not anything else really.

Honestly these are the only mods I want to see. Just retextures. I could care less for everything else. I just think it would be fun to make the zeds look like a xenomorph, or if I get tired or sick of a weapon just allow me to skin over it to one I prefer. Other than that I don't want modding. I just want rextextures.

Seeing as it's in alpha right now and it would be pre alpha, and he did say it would follow the minecraft model of sell, I would pay 10 dollars now so I don't have to pay 30 later for full release. I am pretty stingy but if Rocket says he will put it out right now for 10 dollars, and everything is subject to change or I might lose gear or start a new because of something for the game, or somedays I wouldn't be able to play at all he would have my 10 dollars right now, guaranteed.

Well you do spawn on the shore. And there are really only 2 good cities on the shore. Cherno and Elektro. Now honestly I only go to those filth holes to grab some gear before I start heading north. Other than that I steer clear. I usually camp just on the outskirts of berezino because no one ever goes to that amazing city for some reason.

I hate spawning in that armpit of the giant world around me in this game. But apparently my game thinks it's a vacation resort. One I have to spawn to almost every game.

Came to the thread expecting some sort've talk about adding ice cream to the game. Disappointed. I wanted to add chocolate in the mix.

I remember in a private when they were practically new, I go in the apartments of Cherno. Before I knew it someone was right behind it. I scream in direct, "I am friendly I won't hurt you!" Then the server shut down. Not only did the host leave, but he combat logged in a non combat scenario. Or when Taviana was new, in the middle of the town square there were like 10 apaches, if you weren't admin or friend of admin, you would get kicked or banned. They would get in the choppers and fly around looking for anyone playing the game. They would either shoot you in a hellfire, or land and pick you off with a overpowered weapon. I thought bandits were scum, these guys are the epitome of the word.

Why can't you combine for CZ with einfield? Aren't they both same size bullets?

I meet up with a unarmed stranger in Elecktro, tells me he has a friend he left in Cherno and if anyone would help he would be happy. I said alright lets get some stuff and head out. We packed up for the trip, it's not far, and we knew it wasn't, but the both of us realized when we go our separate ways it's going to be hard to stock pile again so do it now and save the trouble. He grabs a remington 870, I grab a hatchet. Once we were loaded we headed out, we talked about myths for a while, stories, laughed, had a great time. It got dark once we got to the mountain between Cherno and Elecktro. We didn't go up the mountain, which is what I regret. He turns on his flashlight form his 870 as we get near a lighthouse. We look around for a bike to try and get to Cherno faster. Before we know it winchester shots are coming at us. I get shot in the back before we can react. My stranger friend starts trying to light up this man but can't really seem to get a handle on him sense that man was running circles around him. I try to get in and attack but I end up breaking my friends legs, making it easier pickings for that scumbag to take him apart. As I hide behind a bush the bandit scans but lost site of me. In some great stroke of luck, that scumbag thought I left. He goes to the body to loot it, I shed a tear. I jumped out of the bush, with hatchet in hand running over to the bandit and start hacking at him. I managed to break his legs, and he did to me as well. At this point I can barely see with all the tears in my eyes, I just hacked away. When I was done I didn't even see the body, but I knew he was down. I go over to my friends body, crawling with all the strength I have left. I am still crying at this point. I tell him I am sorry, I tell him I am going to finish this mission. I get out with the last ounce of strength I have left, salute, then bury him. I crawl to Cherno and found his friend. I break the bad news and he gives me a stick of morphine, gives me a blood transfusion. I stay with him for a while to give him some closure, give him a moment of silence. Then we both headed out of Cherno. We were headed north, but we split ways. I just couldn't bear to tell him that I was the fault his friend was not there.

I don't know why, but this was the first time I read that in Archer's voice. I've seen you around every other thread, but this one made me do it for some reason.

I just want to see zombies rip people piece by piece. Removing inards, and practically peel you away like an orange. That way you have open flesh wounds, which visible, and treatable (Hopefully bandages are visible also). So finally when you get up to a dead player, he is just mangled and destroyed. Maybe the zombies will take his legs and you can't have anything that was in his pants pockets. He would just be a torso with intestines out. That would be glorious for this game, it really needs to start getting a tad darker.

Depends on the capacity of your backpack, but yes, you can.

If I kill with a revolver or 1911 I feel pretty badass. Other then that any AK variant just feels right to me.

If anything I agree, but without the "surrender" not being binded to a key automatically makes robberies risky and not really worth it. When SA comes out they should have it binded to something along with having one tip in the entire game which is: "Whenever someone has a gun pointed behind you and tells you to freeze, or surrender hit [key] to surrender, it works better than trying to shoot the guy."

Well you can build up a vehicle in the game, and if shot in certain areas it is rendered useless. Sense guns will be customizable (From last I read) then some parts are might get the damage only. Like if just out of a chance of luck someone shot lets say an ACOG, only the ACOG would be useless but the rest of the weapon would work perfectly. That's how I believe Rocket is seeing it, I am pretty sure he has a basic idea of guns and might add it to the game. I am just not so sure if you hit the stock of the gun it makes it useless. I know it doesn't in real life, but the hit boxes could be off because it still is a game.

Well steam does have a cloud so if that ever happens you just log in to the new computer and it's back, but the 3 already posted are probably your best bet for a physical copy.

I'm not sure if in my first time I survived 30 minutes because bandits, or if I lived for hours because I got lost in the forest. Both those happened I just don't remember which happened first.
