I am not happy with 45 days. Persistence for me means forever.

Hi. I need some infos about the persistence of tents, barrels, sea chest too please. Investing days of work just to have things despawn is pretty demotivating. Things that can be placed shuold be persistente forever, otherwise it makes no sense investing the time searching, moving, building. Can we have reliable input on whats the situation here please?
