For a week thats all I get is connection failed and I can see people are playing the server in the steam server browser.I havent changed anything since it was working fine and this is after the beta release,it worked properly.I've verified the file integrity and i have legacy .62 chosen in the properties.Any suggestions?

Positive. I've spoken to fragnet and theres 4 servers that stayed .62 legacy.They also show in the steam server browser.

I don't know what's changed but today I cant join a .62 server,I get connection failed.I checked file integrity and I'm still in the box for .62 legacy under properties. I've never had this problem before and I havent changed anything.
