Only if it's optional. I usualy hate both in games as their implementation is very annoying. -

There are more than enough books in public domain, same as the few paintings hung in homes, thus copyright is not an issue. My best guess is that they were a source of paper and back in the day you could write notes on paper. This mechanic is now gone. -

Why? -
Certainly there's plenty of room for in-game item adverts. Snacks, drinks or a line of clothing. Could be a "brand" poster, for company that makes a selection of these. But here's my idea: A variant of any existing (or new) poster that has emergency information slapped on. Like directions to evac site, information about ongoing military and police activity, directives for civilians or something like that, which would add a bit more lore surrounding the spread of the infection.

I very much enjoy the altered spawn and more vehicles EXP server. Thanks to that I was able to actually experiment 😉 In the future, please always have a server like this, focused on what you need feedback on. -

You need to check if they are dead. There is verbal and visual confirmation, plus you have an action available to check their pulse. Not making sure they are dead is on you. -
@desolate-master I also see Vaiga as more than enough. You can of course switch to semi auto, so it's easily the best shotgun even with a 5 round mag.

@penguin511 this guy can't be bothered to read the bit of lore on Wiki, so I don't think translation is the issue here. Just the need to spout opinions regardless of facts. No wonder people consider it outright trolling. -

Action prompts can be wonky on a good day, but this patch put it to overdrive. I suspect it has to do with the general collision issues. For example a prompt for filling a canteen would appear only about a meter away from a well. Standing right next to the well would only give me drink action. Same goes for picking items up from beds/shelves. You need to be at a certain distance and angle. It feel's like we're all wearing eye patches and the dept perception is completely off 😄 -

An observation so far, there is a lot of getting stuck/clipping in geometry. Like passing under an archway and getting stuck at the base, getting stuck indoors, entering amusement park shooting range and clipping through the roof, sudden jumps off the stairs A lot of the times it looks like the character floor and real floor are not aligned, so the character is slightly above the real floor. Also, is the hotbar being turned-off automatically? And a suggestion, GPS should also display a compass. Sunrise in Livonia 🙂 ] -

Now to actually address the patch: Item spawning more in damaged by default is ok, though with some items it make very little since. Like damaged matches or can of sardines, sharpening stone and so on. Unless there are plans to have these items altered as well, they would rot sooner, contain less food, break with use ... I do have a question regarding the jam rate, is it the state of the magazine that causes jams or state of the ammo? Or both? Failure to feed makes sense with a damaged magazine. With damaged ammo can we then expect misfires, failure to extract etc.?
