    realism compensation

I know what you're trying to get at, but let me say somethings. I really don't know what you mean by "At the beginning you have to survive as long as you have a knife, hatchet ant some matches and for luxury purposes a refillable water bottle" I'm assuming you want this inventory set up at spawn rather than the painkillers and bandages? It would make sense that you would have these things but then again you kind take away that need to gather those items. Guns, Grenades, and Glory-Guns. I can see why a firearm may NOT be a likely choice but it is better to rely on than the shitty crossbow. Yes you can hear the firearm as another player or get zombies drawn to you but you also have more protection. What happens when you stumble across a man with a shotgun when you're looting something and he is looking to kill you? In that case, you're fucked. The SD weapons don't have rare ammo spawns, just uncommon. You can easily find ammo for the M4A1 CCO SD. Run around for helicopter crash sites, find an ammo box, you instantly have 10 or more. PvP- You believe that we, should have a penalty, for killing another. What if my guy is a psycopath in real life and I have no feelings of remorse or regret? You'd have to factor in emotional senses into a game in order to put punishment on killing one another. For you saying that humans are pack animals well I actually like to be alone IRL. It's not bad, and yes a serious apacolypse like this could tear at and break down our natural instincts, it's not immpossible and it will happen eventually. You sound like another one of those people that don't like PvP but want to make it so you can't PvP without making it insanely difficult for Pkers to survive. In other words you want to promote your gameplay and punish other gamestyles. Yes this isn't Call of Duty, Battlefield, or any FPS but in reality somebody could kill you and feel no remorse or regret. I admit I kill people, it brings another thrill to the game. I don't want this game to be shitting rainbows every 3 seconds, it's the zombie apacolypse, I'd kill you in one, and I wouldn't care. What I'm getting at is that in order to make you happy, you make me, and others unhappy because you either can't take PvP and you prance through the fields puking butterflies saying "FRIENDLY" when somebody shoots at you or you are making this so call "realistic" suggestion for another reason. In my mind, it's not realistic at all, do you see terrorists crying and going to psychiatrists for help because they killed 1 or maybe well over 10 or 20 people? No, you don't and in the game/real zombie apacolypse, I could easily be one of those sick fucks that have no feelings whatsoever.

    Hacking like a Mofo

Server: CA1 Time: 10PM-11PM PST (USA) Incident: I and a couple friends had just raided Balota Airfield, some people tried to kill us. So we decide to go back to camp. ATM we only had a dirt bike and 4 people. So 2 of us go on the bike to his camp and they get there, and a guy IMMEDIATELY appears out of nowhere and proceeds to kill us with a weapon that we had never heard before. We go back to the camp to see that there are G36 Mags EVERYWHERE. I and a friend go to our camp after we had seen their camp. Mainly once we get there we see a man on a hill from our camp. He dissapears and is RIGHT infront of us both and ends up knocking my friend PolloLoco unconcious. We had checked our tents before that to find a M107 TWS in our tent. After this Pollo is dragged away and ran over by our truck that he used. I run to the 1st camp took about 5-10 minutes, that he had Teleported to and we start moving everything. We get on the road with the UAZ and another offroad Truck that is full of loot. Keep in mind that our camps are a good 9-10KM away from each other. My friend Munkey who is driving infront of me is like "OMG there is a white offroad behind us" Then I try to turn round to go the other way to split up. He ends up hitting a building and goes through it and turns around. He gets out and looks like he is switching weapons but kills me regardless in 2 shots. His name is Hillary Clinton. My friend who was unconcious when we died got his name. He might have an accomplice because they were trying to pin this on me and my friend Pollo. His possible accomplice was Wesker. Hope this helps.

A Karma system to prevent extreme PvP

Ok, I'm going to put this is a realistic scenario, I know that the game itself has its realistic and non-realistic portions to it. You, a man who just has lost everything due to the apacolypse (Zombie apacolypse) are alone, raiding a store for food, water, guns, whatever it may be. You finally find a gun and you come across a man, one that you don't know at all. He also has a gun, now what would you do? This complete stranger who has the ability to kill you swiftly that you actually WANT to team up with? I wouldn't trust him. Another scenario you have actually "befriended" somebody, you both have excellent weapons and good supplies. You get into a fight and suddenly the bonds between you break and it is unnoticed at first, but then you guys become detached from each other. He may/may not have a bit of mental trouble but if the trust of one was lost, what would you do? Would you constantly worry yourself to death thinking he is going to kill you? No, I'd kill them straight away. These scenarios I have thought up explain, 1. KOSing, Killing on Sight. Scenario 1 explains that you meet a complete stranger and you are expected to actually trust him? No. 2."Mindless" PvPing. None of the scenarios actually explain why but I cannot tell you how many times I have let a new player who has NO weapons live. Later I see them when they have a weapon and they kill me. In Cherno, and Elektro you cannot expect anything less than basically genocide, it'd happed in the real world as well. 3. Lack of Co-Op. Scenario 1 & 2 explains this. Say you don't kill the stranger from #1 and you actually TRUST them. They don't trust you and they plan to kill you later for their own good. You, jumped the gun, you basically trusted somebody that you shouldn't have. That is your fault nobody elses. Trust friends, not possible enemies. 4.Lone Wolves. Your Karma idea may promote Co-Op because of the benefits but it extremely punishes people like me, one who stays alone throughout the map. What do I gain out of this? Nothing, absolutely nothing. 5. Karma, in general. This has been said before but I will say it again, Karma is fictional and not real. As many people actually may believe in it, most people don't. This is adding more unrealistic properties to the game that we actually WANT to be realistic. In a zombie apacolypse I could kill you and nothing bad would happen to me, no consequences at all. I'm completely sorry to say this but I think your idea is a bit farfetched. 6.Bandits. Bandits are people too.
  4. Exactly the same happened to me. I updated, was playing. Server crashed and I was still able to join. Was playing with no problems until server crashed again and then this fucking error popped up. I tried restarting my comp/ArmA 2: OA/Six Updater and multiple other things. I even told the server admin to update his HIVE files which are already updated... like WTF my friends can get in just fine but me... nope.
