I was switching from my home server to a populated one once I joined I was a fresh spawn, I couldn't of died because I was in a room with no windows and I locked the door what happened?

I have a acog on my m4 and when I zoom in with it it goes grey any fixes?

Can anyone seem to work out proximity chat while in a party? People can't hear me when I use down on the dpad in game while in a party? If you know how to use proximity chat while in a party let me know please.
