Do you own your own server? if so what specs are you running?

Please can someone outline what specs would be ample to run a dedicated dayz server, I have seen some 'minimum specs' posted by a dev previously but they seem low. Im wanting a solid performing server for 1, 100 player server, with the option to maybe have 2 servers in the future. ANY comments/help are appreciated.

Great, thanks for the input - so using the Steam 64 ID my question still stands. hopefully I can have a check on when specific players join, they will be assigned a role that is attached to their ID.

So I'm at the point where the skeleton of my server is set up, and I'm hanging the meat on the bones. I'm looking to add assignments to players based on their unique GUID. any ideas on whether this is possible, as user info is saved based on current character/bans etc. for clarity, the reason for this implementation is not to give an unfair advantage. I'm thinking of team based scenarios. (attack vs defend - Cops vs robbers - blue vs red etc). Hoping to be able to tie spawns and load outs to users based on predetermined data.

I am looking for dayz/mod enthusiasts to become part of a new type of server/game type (to be disclosed in the future). If you are interested in becoming part of what will hopefully become a community, please let me know. There are a number of positions available (providing people are actually interested). There is a lot of work required to set up this server, and it may not be live to the public for a couple of months, but with help I am looking to implement the initial pass of my idea sooner than planned. These positions are strictly voluntary, but will not go without recognition and reward in the future. positions will be awarded based on an interview/review process to ensure the right people fill the right positions. I currently have a discord and a server set up. although they will remain locked down to the public until we get to a state of readiness, I have a roadmap of this project set out and detailed. the help will only allow me to achieve things sooner.
