Hello, I am wondering if the commands found here Dayz Server Manager are implemented yet, and if so, how do i get them to work? The Dayz wiki has not been updated and nothing shows for this new update. I placed the -all and -update mods commands into my .bat file and run it, but i got an error. start DayZServer_x64.exe -instanceId=1 -config=serverDZ.cfg -profiles=ServerName -port=2302 -cpuCount=8 -noFilePatching -dologs -adminlog -freezecheck u all -s start -lp user "-mod=@CF;@Community-Online-Tools;@DayZ-Expansion;@DayZ-Expansion-Licensed" is there something im missing? this means i dont have to use BEC anymore right? Because that thing is a mess to get up and running.

Im gonna keep posting this but i cannot find a fix for the dayz launcher..it keeps crashing. i was hoping 1.0 would fix that. -
i am still having trouble getting the launcher to stay open. i hope this is fixed soon.

Hello, ive been trying to launch dayz launcher from steam for a whole day now and i cannot get it to stick. When beta first released i had this same issue and i keep opening up the game and the launcher finally stuck. but now i have no luck at keeping it open so i can update the mods. I dont think many of you understand that 1.0 just means that alpha stages are complete and the framework for the game has been built. Dont you all rememember the network updates and the stress tests? what do you think that was for? For a stable and solid all around experience...(how can you build a building from rubber support beams? You'll need a strong foundation to build from.) from their servers being alpha to their code to later write more parts of the game with is complete and can be used at anytime to develop something else. Like creating a gun from old code because they have it stored in a library, tweaking it and giving it a new game. Even minecraft is 1.13.2 and they put out the aquatic update not too long ago. I remember playing MC beta back in 2012 in highschool back when it was 0.60 or something young and i watched the game evolve...i remember when Caravas were brand new and i thought to myself, whoa this games engine is cool. Wait guys...wait. Do we really want another skyrim/assassins creed/ COD/ stale and boring game? Rushed? They rushed Fallout 4 and 76 felt like it was released just a week after 4... Do we really want them to rush this? This is supposed to be THE SURVIVAL GAME TO PLAY....PERIOD. Let them develop it. Shush. Good Day, Sir.

Your weapon is damaged and that animation is the "jammed gun" animation. Its normal and happens for a reason. If you want to fix the jamming gun, find a weapon repair kit and use it on the M4

Well dang, i was looking forward to a status report when i started my 2 days off...=( with no status report im sure they are bug fixing and taking that time and pounding out those bugs. A whole month without a status report and now it feels like waiting for updates on Squad.

With the current weather dynamics we should be able to craft a simple flag from 1 stick of the 3 sticks and 1 rag...a crude one would consist of just the stick and the rag and maybe a better one, or even a awesome tall one would require more rags and you can really start base building and rping/factions! A more sophisticated one would maybe require rope to raise or lower a flag. Perhaps 2 or 3 long sticks could suffice. Maybe bunching could be a thing and you can bunch sticks together and build a more solid base for a rightful flag. but going back to my main point...if you really wanted to work with the wind dynamics, then wind speeds and long distance shots could be very fun and much more realistic. (plus think of builiding arma 4 off those kind of physics.) Even then. having just a flag to show us which way the wind is blowing would be cool to keep in mind during our travels. Maybe the wind mechanic could pick up my scent or any fresh meat in my pack for wolfs to hunt me down!

So far so good. Ive got some input here for bullets and their power... 9mm Effective for light to no armored combatants. Maybe could be used with some knockback mechanic? .380 Could be used as more stopping power/ more chance to stun/knock back? .308 Very powerful, could set the standard for balance??? From there maybe you can balance out the damage of the 5.56 rounds? .45 My favorite rounds. Takes out zombies in one hit like the 7.62 and 5.56. fun to burn though and with the FX45 it just feels amazing to let loose. 5.56 Good zombie killer one shot kill to zombies now that hit reg is working great. but i feel like im wasting my 7.62 ammo on a zombie when i could be using 5.56 7.62 pretty good round and common more so in airfields than i would have thought. Takes out a zombie in one round times..feels like im wasting damage or bullets because 5.56 does the same thing. Perhaps the .308 would be king, limited to the higher powered weapons and make sure those who find such late game weapons feel as if they got something good and reliable. Comparing to the 7.62/5.56 and .45, all these calibers do about the same damage, and i know youre looking into damage balance so perhaps look at this please. .45 will drop a zombie and my zeroed usg45 with zero will drop a player, but has bullet weight and penetration been looked at? Please look at the power of the cartridge being used to balance the damage and please refer to the plate carrier as maybe king tier defense.

a good scale...what exactly are the devs wanting to accomplish with a damage rework? Also, i really hope they think about penetration and the grain of the bullet and its weight. Its going to be alot of work but i think with this in mind you could find some good balance.

the akm is the least bugged it seems when it comes to the gun sound bug. Otherwise when im scoping down on a zombie and i fire the reticule goes right back to where i was aiming. good stuff!

I would love to try it out im looking for a tent and some wheels right now, but with the "reworked" vehicle physics i would like to see how it handles. If it drives like Squad, then were in good shape, but even squad is still a bit slow and dull...not to mention slow. The old vehicle physics were just not optimized and it felt like it was just enough to get the cars going forward but it really did feel like a rough draft, but it did feel like the cars would desync the network anytime i would enter one, so it must be on their framework. Keep up the good work and i hope to see that bug regarding the gunshots not being heard by the player. However i do hear them when other players shoot.

Thats great to hear! they are always improving the game and thats whats going to put fortnite and scum to shame...the amount of detail they put into this game is just insane.
