3 hours ago, i was at Cherno, near the hospital where 4-5 enterable buildings at, searching for some beans. I was moving in to enter one of buildings to scavenge, suddenly saw a guy with a makarov and took cover instantly, he behaved and talked friendly, so i continued into building, ofcourse while aiming at him, i cant afford being unwary out in the open and i am no murderer neither. A minute or two later he shouted about three bandits coming down from the hill, i picked a good spot at a balcony and saw them crawling towards the hospital, each of them were armed pretty good. A guy with a makarov is something, three guys with rifles is another, i wasnt sure if they were bandits or not, doubt was crawling in my head as they were crawling in my sight and my window of opportunity was narrowing. I shot them, half the clip of my AK74 gone and three guys dead. Murder count risen to 2, guess other guy got a lucky shot with the makarov. I felt guilty as we approached to corpses. They were loaded indeed, tons of ammo, cooked food, guns, maps, watchs, compasses. Wondered how long they were with their character and if they were bandits or survivors. Turned around and looked back at my sniper spot, a simple balcony, yet gave great cover against that angle. I was a simple survivor five minutes ago, never killed another man, and now am i a bandit? guess i was just afraid and took quick action, ending a gunfight before it might start. I am still in cherno, dont think i will survive in the city, wilderness?? maybe longer, but i know that wont last long too, maybe i will move in a good spot and watch things in the city a bit... Playing the game for over 3 weeks now, and im attaching to it. Guess what i did today is what i would do in real world in that same frakking situation.
