100% it is really getting there. I think now its time for the community to play a little smarter. I'm all for PvP but a little in game chat really transforms this game. Growth of factions and trading will make a huge difference. But from a player who loves the game but has hated it's development; this has been a refreshing up date.

I totally agree! I think DayZ is both the greatest and worst game I've ever played. I would love to see 1.05 not give us anything new and just fix the small things to allow the player base to simply play the game without feel the need to abuse the devs. We love the game devs... just maybe show your players some love too.

This is probably the biggest issue with this patch so far. I've had it once or twice but party members have lost fully geared weapons because of it.

Ive had it that you couldn't log off at all and some players looked frozen when everyone was moving on their own screens. We all had to hard quit and then noticed the server was gone. Has happened twice.

They do work but it seems to be easier to get sick. Make sure you not drinking out of your hands. I've also noticed I've gotten sick from apples I've found. Maybe the alcohol is more important these days.

It is working. But if you are masked your voice is muffled.

Surely player locking the server is the only way.

BI put that in their "known issues" in the patch notes.

I've seen people claiming they can still dupe! Please tell me this isnt true.

So, I would use roosters as an indicated if a player was off in the distance because they are so loud; but today I notice them being softer and almost absent. Have they been dialed down?

I fucking love this game but cheaters mixed with BI's incompetence just have put this game on the back burner for me. I ran into a team of 9, yes 9, dupers who all they wanted to do is PvP. Yeah we all know how duping is ruining the game but they had something else up their sleeves that I was unaware of. They knew a glitch that crashes the server. I watched them enter a town and PvP in fully kitted, duped gear and kill everything insight, including fresh spawns. Someone got the jump on them and killed 3 with a shot gun... so one of their team mates crashed the server and wound everyone back so the could have a second shot at the guy. Really BI?! Are we just going to let cheaters rip this game apart? Putting the game down till duping is fixed and hopefully see locked servers.

Let's just rename this release as DayZ - Just the Tip

Does anyone bother with Cars? Over the last few weeks I have build 2 only for them to crash when the game lag spikes and today we built a car only for it to bounce all over the place when we jumped in the drivers seat.

So, here is my Unpopular Opinion: Now this game struggles with delivering bug free game-play and I ask if that is because BI doesn't have the money to employ more devs better servers and so on. So what if you had the option paying $3.00 to pick the character you want and have the ability to add things like tattoo's, hair colour and more. If that character dies then so is the three dollars. Just like the old arcade machines. You pay for a life. Maybe people become more invested in their character at the start and KoS would become lower and people more smarter about their game play. Now I know that's not for everyone, so I wouldn't say it should be mandatory, but if that mean BI gets more money to fix the ridiculous amounts of problems it has then I'm all for it. I really love this game and I want BI to succeed but I hate being punch in the face by bad bugs because BI isn't delivering.

There is an old saying, when you are trying to make something, you can pick only two of the three things below and the third will be your sacrifice. * Time * Money * Quality Doesn't matter how hard this industry can be, clearly something isn't working.

It isn't always about the practical as well for me. It's pure aesthetics. I like the idea of building a base in a factory or house and locking it down as if it was the apocalypse. It's just sad about server hoppers not making them water tight.

If they are making bank, then why isn't it transferring to a better product? Where is the fund going? I'm not saying they a poor I'm just saying the funds aren't being put into the game as much as the community would like. I also would love to purchase a private server!

Found two AK's on the ground today. One in the ATC and one in a Barracks

I have them located around them map with full food, water, shovels and clothes. So, if I die, I can just head to the tent and get geared up again with no hassle. I stash weapons underground though.

I have stolen 4 tents now and the ones I have found are persistent.

Last night I pulled of my best kill, well kills in this game and it had me buzzing. So, I was in my home server and the only server I use, SG 4500 when I decided to head to Staroye tents to see if I could get any gear. It was night so my team mate and I were walking pretty freely to our desired location. Suddenly I caught a glimpse of a flash light on the he, then another. I pulled out my sk with the PU scope to see what was happening. My scope revealed to players exiting the tents, with what I assume to be the loot I came for. It was dark, so their bodies were hard to get a target on; but they where getting away... I had to take the shot. I hold my breath and take two quick shots with the SK into the darkness. The torches drop to the ground. Did they die or just drop the torches and hide? My partner and I move up to check and we find the bodies on the ground lit by their own torches. I one shot both of them. So I want to hear from you all; Whats your best kill?

So do these not work with suppressing sound for the zombies?
