I play on max sensitivity and trying to make slight diagonal movements accurately and quickly is not the easiest thing to do. If you don't move it perfectly it just goes straight left or down rather than diagonally. Makes it kinda hard to control recoil when it doesn't receive input until you've pulled down too much. My friend has a xim and he can trace small circles while I do squares because the xim is programmed by people who actually play games. If only game devs did as much work for their games as other people do -
Use the inventory button to close your inventory, it sounds like your pressing b which is combine as well as back

Bandages I think are fine how they are. Maybe they could add a tourniquet to be a little quicker but you would still have to stop to apply to legs and it wouldn't work on your body or head obviously. I think the problem with zombies is they hear the bullet crack before the rifle itself or the bullet hits close to them so they follow it and in some cases the crack is just louder than the muzzle report as well especially with suppressors.

If you wanted to simulate a disability like distonia or something then great but it couldn't be that hard to move your sight a little to the left and down for the average person right? -

Don't Carr about dying and I enjoy all the challenges in dayz otherwise I wouldn't be here. But I won't accept frustrating and innacurate controls in any game, I'm not far off buying a xim because a 3rd party open source piece of hardware/software does better than most game devs these days -

I play SG 4437 (1st person) I haven't found any of the new items yet. May I ask what's up with the fps stuttering? If I bring up my hot wheel it smooths out immediately, but then its back again every other minute. Doesn't look good, no new items and worse performance. Can we get a test server or something?

So any idea what this new update did? I can't even shoot a gun now.. This is great 10/10 would fall through the ground relog and have to update again.

Yea devs can we please get a better sensitivity curve that isnt square please. Its like playing elder scrolls oblivion except you're expected to shoot people. I'm sick of games with terrible dead zones and sensitivity its frustrating to play, add in all the desync and other bugs and you got yourself a dead game -
1 step forward and 2 steps back. So let me get this right, the only thing the NEEDS to be fixed is desync and you guys add permanent fps stuttering? Yay now we can wait for the fps to get better again while we wait for the desync update.... Honestly this game is in a much worse state than what it was at launch and that's unacceptable. Surely you realise your not making any progress in terms of completing a working game, you don't get credit for fixing issues you made and you will never make a satisfying game if you just brush all important issues under a rug. Every update is worse than the last simply because its yet another update we can't enjoy because of desync. You could make the best game ever, but if it only works half the time who's gonna play?

So I recently learned that both 5.56 and 7.62x39 surplus ammo comes ready loaded into 10 round clips and can be used to load stanag and ak47 mags, same clip for the SKS can be used with ak mags directly while the 5.56 uses an adaptor to load stanag. Obviously 7.62x54r has 5 round clips. I think adding clips and other loading equipment while balancing magazine spawns so that 10 and 20rnd mags are more common than 30rnd and drums will make the magazines themselves feel powerful as well as the gun I also think we need more unique weapon types like combination rifles or chamber adaptors, the blaze seems to be one with an adaptor. But yea it turns out there is a speedloader for just about anything that shoots

Yea it definitely needs to be changed I think the most common mags I've found are the coupled stanag mags. But I don't really search anything southeast of the center so maybe the smaller mags are near the coast where you won't have an m4 anyway lol. Can anyone confirm that the California compliant P-mags work properly? I wanna make a fugly ar15

So any update on the de-sync issues? I played for 3 mins grabbed a gun killed a guy and couldn't eat his pair or reload a mag. Pretty much a 50% chance to break you character every time you do anything with inventory. Been like this for months now, don't bother adding stuff if de-sync means I can't play

I like how dark it is at night, its the one thing most devs get wrong where as Bohemia have put in measures to prevent people abusing gamma. Night is supposed to be dark there's plenty of light sources, yes they do make you a target but you can see without them. Last night I was driving (lights dont work) and I could see well enough to drive on roads but off road I had to get a friend to guide me with a torch. Its realistic and fits perfectly in a hardcore survival game. I mean seriously, loading mags, purifying water, cutting your feet or hands because your shoes/gloves broke. but night time is to much? -
A dev explained in another thread that it was a significant update to the database and that's why they have to wait. So unless they do any significant changes again they should be able to update either console when its ready, eg: the scope fix My thinking is correct for normal updates, but this time it can't be done. I just couldn't find any explain why this time was different

Could you explain to me what you think the actual problem is? To me its a bullshit excuse so as to not anger a particular player base. I just dont see it being an issue. For such a simple program. My understanding is it receives directions to player X's file, it follows them directions and sends the corresponding info back. Client version shouldn't matter if it sends the exact same request to the database

So this is a simple case of the current consoles CPU's being to slow to figure out what to load and load it before traveling to far causing it to attempt to load more while also figure out what to deload to free up RAM. So your game freezes but cars (sometimes?) have server side physics so you continue as if nothing happened. To the server we all just look like bad drivers lol Good news is it should be pretty easy to optimise the towns/city's just cull things behind the player earlier and load things in an order where smaller/important tasks are completed first and load secondary objects/interiors when appropriate. Im pretty confident with the team to optimise the game. There's already so much tricks that you dont notice. Like when in a building the game knows you can't see outside and culls almost everything out there. Some devs *cough bluehole are hopeless, I saw a comment joke about rendering players at full detail through hills/buildings, and then the patch notes said they no longer do it that way. Like serious? We were joking and devs be like "hey that's a good idea"

But the old item ID's will be the same with this update, so it should work same as before for all current items. Unless I'm misunderstanding how complicated this is, it seems quite logical to me that it would work. It would just send your character data same as before, seeing as you can't acquire said new items the database can't instruct your game to load an item that isn't addes. Even if the database tried to spawn you with an item that wasn't in your game files, even then its still quite likely to work. Think adding or removing gun mods on fallout 4. say your character should spawn with x weapon but it can't be found, so you just spawn without it

Hmm I haven't noticed but last update if playing on a one x, flares didn't have a light source until about 200m at which point the flare itself and smoke trail were already rendered. I was repeatedly asking what flares my squad was calling out thinking I'm just blind lol. I never saw any mention of it being an issue or being fixed but they done it

Can someone think of a reason why thy don't just go ahead with the update for Xbox and reset ps4 to clean up the no doubt out of control duping that is console dayz. Its still game preview so nobody should be upset about losing gear (should have happened already) and having clean servers to play until the update passes. If I had a choice of fresh gameplay and no update or nothing at all. I'd take a free reset to liven up gameplay a bit. I do understand that some people play legit but its being reset soon, and would have already if all was good

@Trapphone what rendering issue are you referring to? I haven't noticed any particular issues, just normal lighting with a little clipping here and there

Was just shooting my m4 with ruined suppressor in town and zombies 25m away didn't here it. Either way. Players definitely can't here it i play with like 15 other people and if we need to find each other we take a suppressor off and fire a few rounds

Were you using an m4 or ak?because those are still loud with suppressors because they fire supersonic rounds. And the more rounds you fire the more chance to attract zombies. If you actually want to be quiet use the fnx45 or an smg.

OK we only use ruined suppressors and they definitely are still suppressed whether its a bottle or not it still works. If you guys want to take your ruined suppressors off, go for it You say it makes it easier to find us. My question is have ever actually been to berizino to pvp? Because me and a mate shot about 200 rounds last night with svd's with a bottle and no one found us.
