what i did was not even extract it. i used winzip and run ran it and it worked for me so try that out guys. It should just auto-admin you when you run the .exe from winzip but if not i cant help you. just warning you thats a possible fluke with mine.

download the .exe for the beta update but make sure you run as admin hope that works. Mine has said i have the wrong cd key but i have it on steam soo...

Any one getting the wrong cd error when you try to update beta? i am and i dont know what to do Getting error that says "Error creating Direct3D 9 graphical engine" did all the following steps as directed by LVG please help me this hasnt worked and its the only reason i bought arma2 (even though the campaign isnt all that bad just hard as Sh*t) Thanks. -

having the same issue with my laptop incredibly frustrating -
:exclamation:I am also receiving that same error message only every once i am able to join a out dated server and i am invisible and can only pick up non-weapon items and cannot shoot or harm people and zombies. This is literally the most frustrating thing I've ever encountered since i bought Arma2:OA only for this mod which i was only really able to play for two days.
