I managed to get loot to spawn in my custom buildings by using the proxyexport method from da0nes vanilla++ however after generating the new xml files and copying them to the mission files i use all military loot spawns and everywhere spawns civi gear anyone know of a way round this

you also need an admin chat based tool to write the export proxy command

you need to add the buildings on community offline editor export them(paste them to a txt file) add them either to your init.c or if your using vanilla++ (easier) to the buildingspawner.c file then you need to add a proxyexport after you boot the server, in the server console it eill say [CE]MapExport then in your storage folder will be a new folder called export copy the mapgrouppos.xml copy that to your mission root and hey presto custom buildings with custom loot im currently returning myskino tents to how they used to be

oh for that size server your better off with a host (i forget now the files are out there are so many smaller servers about now) although you end up at there mercy when updates come along.

How many slots on your server? We run 3 100slot servers on a dedicated rack for the equivalent of 40usd so yeah it's safe to say alot cheaper.

i would contact cftools directly on there discord they are pretty quick to respond and get you all setup

think it may of changed still modding tools were introduced but it was no mods or access to server files on private shards not so long ago, price wise you better off renting a dedicated machine though a host site rather than gamingdeluxe etc as self hosting is about a third of the price. or gportal had good deals on non shard servers but when i tried one the performance was terrible

Solved when exporting the new locations the map group file sets everything to main instead of categorized by type.

sometimes the spawns have a 100 meter radius so you wont see them all at once they could be behind houses on other streets etc

did you up the maxcount in globals

static always there and draining performance when no players are in the area dynamic less drain as only there when players are

I think this requires a server and client side mod as the client side calculates the weight so whatever changes you do server side will be overridden by the client

Builder requires server and client side mod which kind of puts me off a little as many players would just move on to another server. The community offline editor is my go to tool at the moment shame builder can't run the same way -
havent been that far into it but ive been using it as an easy way to edit zombie and animal spawns as it tells you the type and the coordinates so easier that searching the xml manually

The cars are saved in a separated file than the bases, and when any corruption is found in a persistence file the server wipes it that's where the problems come in

You need the full mission for da0ne scripts to work as is, you can disable the things you don't want

Trouble is it can be done withoutknowing just by picking up an item when you already have something in your hands afaik -
Is there anyway to display in game time via a server message? Would be really handy so people now how much time they have before the pitch black nights kick in

I have spoken directly with a dayz dev about this. And he said "[cheat] in the crash logs means that some ingame function is written as unsafe, its basically logging for us to know something is off." So nothing for you to worry about it's just so they see it's a known issue -
