Hello all, Does anyone know or has anyone come across a way to delete bases off a server? I have had a lot of players come and go from my server and I would like to wipe all the part built bases that are all over the map.
-
Even if I lock a door with a lockpick upon server restart the door will be unlocked and possibly open. Is there a setting anyway to enable the the persistence of the Door status upon server restart?
-
Hello all, Thought I would ask here too..... I don't see any MOTD when I join a server that I know has them, friends see them on the same server but I don't? I have them enabled in settings but just don't get them showing up? Does anyone else has this issue or does anyone know of a way to fix it? Thanks
-
Yes this was fixed along time ago.... thanks for the response though!
-
Im the same on windows 7 Ultimate.... Let me know if upgrading to Windows 10 helped!
-
I should know this but I'm being a bit dumb this morning... Is there a way of wiping the server but leave Characters as they are? I want to regenerate all the loot spawn and also clear up some stashes that have been buried in areas that cause a server crash when dug back up!
-
Yep, that's done it..... Perfect thanks!

Is there any way of getting the information of who has joined your server? SteamID or something else? All I see is the GUID in the log files and nothing really else! Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance

Before I try and most likely waste my time - I was wondering whether anyone has already successfully got a server running on a Windows 7 system? I know the minimum specs are: OS: Windows Server 12-16 or Windows 10 But I have a spare windows 7 machine that camt be upgraded just sitting here and thought I would use it if possible!
-
Your not normal, but I like that..... The Windows 7 machine can easily run a server but cant be upgraded to 10 as it isnt supported Lenovo M91p with i5 2400 at 3.1GHz 8gb of DDR3 and 250gb ssd.... but no support for windows 10 for 2nd gen intel cpu's from intel or Lenovo so no driver support! When Linux support for server files is out that has the way I will go but until then I was just wondering.

Thank you

Is this version dependant? I'm using BEC version 1.496 and don't seem to be able to get it to work! My problem is that I can't get the latest version of BEC to work on my server, only 1.496 works.

Hello all, Need help with BEC - I believe it starts up correctly as it shows people connecting to the server etc. I'm guessing that this means it is working (The No Valid Response seems odd though) But for love nor money can I get my schedule to work - no messages or restarts and it is driving me crazy - HELP PLEASE! As far as I can see everything is where it should be - schedule.xml in the same folder as Bec.exe and so is the BEC Config.cfg -
Once you open chat you need to login as admin then whatever you type will said Globally. All other chat from other players can be read via a RCON Tool if not im range.

Yep - just remove the #ADD YOUR IP. So it looks like [Bec] Ip = 127.0.0.1 Port = 2302 BePath = C:\Users\marti\Desktop\DAYZSERVER\battleye Admins = admins.xml Commands = commands.xml LogDir = Config Obviously changing your ip address -

Figured it out - In My ConFig in BEC Folder - The #ADD YOUR IP. was causing the issue.... Question - Do you know where the server gets the times from and what timezone it uses or is it PC Time? For Restart times! -
