You just hit it with pickaxe,axe whatever any melee weapon or you can shoot or use grenades it will eventually break. This sheet is not 100% accurate as of 1.14 but close. It only takes 5 grenades to break in metal or wooden fence they have no difference for grenades.

I was testing how many grenades it takes to destroy a metal wall and after 5 grenades the whole metal wall was completely destroyed including the frames. It is supposed to be 7 apparently, according to some raiding sheets. I was wondering if it is normal or a glitch. Also it takes 5 grenades both metal and wood it has no difference so there is that too.

Let me just warn you, I heard from people even people they added each other on discord and steam and play together randomly betrayed them and unfriended them mid voice chat. Do not trust anyone people are scum bags. I recently had it too I met this guy in game and I told him "if you REALLY want to team up add me on steam so I know you don't betray me" but after 5 mins he tried to kill me I made a hole in his head he said nothing just left and unfriended me. People are stupid and weird and scum bags so in game possibilities are low try finding game off game.

I noticed you get kicked from officials servers quite often but it never happens on community servers. Is it something known ?

I have good internet, I tested it both ways. Ping test to a dns server and ping test to my router both have very good connections with no time outs maybe 2-3 ping jumps to 20ms to 160ms but it is out of 900 so 3/900 seems pretty low to me and nothing like 1000ms ping spike. I never have any issues on other games too. Only DayZ official servers. I use USA servers and I live in USA so not high ping.

Cars are really bad and not fun to drive. Literally arma 2 dayz mod cars way 10 times better than what we have right now. Hopefully they will rework cars big time like they reworked the game engine.

I was trying to find a car on experimental server LA since they technically improved server performance so I literally ran from seashore to tisy and checked every single car spawn location on the way yet no cars anywhere. I am getting curios about how many cars are there in total and how the fuck are we supposed to find them. What happens to the cars people just take and never play the game again ? How do they despawn ?

So they changed LIFETIME for loot from 2-3 hours to 24-48 last update and now it will be 4-8 hours with 1.10 does anyone know what lifetime exactly means. Does it mean spawn time after a place is loot ? or just loot that is never picked being changed with a different one ? Or both or something totally different. I am looking for a real answer not just a guess so please don't say "oh yeah it means this" even though it is just a theory 🙃

I don't understand how people starve lmao I been playing on official servers with all fucked up loot spawn system with 1.09 where they decided to set the respawn time to 24-48 hours from 2-3 lol and I still find way too much food I never need it. Also you kill a single animal other than chickens and you will be good till you die. I assume you are sprinting all the time and not looking at houses good enough ? You loot ONLY houses but nothing else if you need food fast. Check food stands they are amazing. Also check green houses. If you are going around looking at sheds etc and sprinting yes you probably will starve obviously.

Yes, all that loot you burn will spawn somewhere else.

If you are in a military location yes, if you have a gun yes. If you are playing on a modded server with traders 100% yes because people literally play on those servers to shoot people, not try to survive around and make friends as there is no survival on those servers. I am kind of sad there is no 1p server with no traders that is full on chernarus. I don't understand why anyone would play on a 3p server, literally either you get capped by someone who you can't see and you have no way of preventing or winning against this guy. Or you do that, last option you camp in a building and unless guy is trying to get himself killed he will not push in because amazing 3p camera 🙂 will always end up making you win in that situation unless you are bad of course, or you have shitty ping

Rains makes no difference if you have proper clothing not even talking about raincoat etc. You just sprint from house to house if you are looting then dry your clothes once in a while. I tried with 1.10 update where temperature is even harder to maintain. Had no problems what so ever. I can see it being hard if you just spawned but hey sometimes u will starve to death as freshie because bad luck. IF you are really so bad at surviving or only want to kill people there is plenty of modded servers.

I had an encounter where I shot this guy where my mosin ammo scraped his head and neck and hit him on his back because I was higher than him. Basically shot him on the upper chest back. He walks away then I shoot him again on the arm or hand again and he is still alive. I shot him twice with mosin on chest and arm saw blood watched where it on slow mo etc. and these 2 hits happened withing 2-3 mins not like he regened a lot of health. Is this normal ? I shot him from 300 meters not like 1000. Also NO stab/plate/press vest. I was wondering what the hit zones are is it just head chest arm etc ? or way more complicated ? Couldn't find any up to date official info.

Desync and lag ? Even though my internet is perfect I never have packet losses or ping spikes. I am questioning dayz hit registrations at this point. Extremely annoying considering how crucial pvp in this game is. I can't take this kind of seeing blood but people not taking damage bullshit.

But still a mosin shot to torso, someone who has no armor should be insta kill right ? I mean ok maybe he was on blinking health by some miracle then how in the hell did he survive another mosin shot to the arm.

People hoarding weapons makes the game way less fun because of these "only this amount of weapons in a server" situation. How is it fair that people are not able to find any guns ammo etc literally never because few people just hoarded them in their hidden bases etc. I think it is a pointless restriction and ruins the game experience for everybody but few hoarders. I hope it is removed or reworked for a way better one.

Right now binoculars feels horrible to use you have to be stationary and there has to be not even the slightest blocker in the way for game to let u use it then when using it you can not just move around which I think is a big disappointment. It just doesn't feel nice to use them right now. I have to let go of m1 change position then even wait for a bit to be able to use it again. I think it would be incredible if binoculars was used just by holding right click and you were able to at least walk around while using it.

Building bases from scratch in wilderness pointless as it is so easy to jump over fences and just dismantle from inside and get out. Will there be changes to building so we can build more other than fencing up only few buildings ?

It takes over 800 hits to destroy lower wall and frame with axes or pickaxes. Way longer with other tools. Base buildings takes so much effort and time so it must also take a lot of effort and time to break in. It is good now compared to old pointless system.

So I fixed a car and only removed battery and spark plug when leaving the game we put it in middle of nowhere with our crates next to it. Next day car is gone loot is untouched. Someone said if you remove parts car disappears. Is it true ? or any ideas

We have eaten raw human meat like more than 10 with my friend and even encountered people say the same thing and never gotten diseases same goes for the drinking water from ponds etc.so I am curious if it is possible to eat like 10 raw human meat and not get sick with super luck and drink shit from everywhere and not get sick, or they actually didn't add it yet ? even though it says they did.
