Blue armbands won't work. Simply because a bandit could do the same, and then slaughter bambis. I ran into a blue armband in a town last night, it was a low pop server and the town was towardsthe middle of the map. Gorka i think it was called. I didn't see the guy at first, i was oblivious to the fact he was even their. He must of known i was about tho8gh because he camped in a room. When i opened the door he was waiting with a pistol. I didn't want to fight and risk death so turned tail and ran. Because i hadn't long since spawned i had naff gear, though i did find an M4 at a checkpoint enroute. Anyway, this blue armband dude starts chasing me with his pistol (granted he didn't shoot, or was a terrible shot!) And was hounding me, so in the end i pulled out my M4 and stood my ground. He then ran off. Simply, trust no one! Only friends.

Can i make players voices come through headset
foz 28 replied to foz 28's question in Troubleshooting
Thanks guys. Surely voice chat should come through the standard xboxheadset though? It does with every other game such as battlefield, call of duty etc. Game sounds through the tv, voice communications through the headset. It's pretty much always been that way with xbox live games. Many thanks fellas. -
Can i make players voices come through headset

Hello. This isn't a party chat issue, this is an in game issue when being in an area with other players who i don't know. They csn be pretty ruthless in what they say and it's not on. I understand this is a game though and that kind of thing will be said, it's now part and parcel of gaming unfortunately. However i just don't want my children to hear it or my partner. I'd rather all voice sounds come through the headset rather than the tv. Party chat is fine, that comes through the headset as it should, but those are friends and the conversations we have are for the most part pretty normal. Its the random players in game i wish have coming through the headset also, not through TV speakers. Any help would be great. As above, voice chat is a huge feature for day z and adds to the immersion and atmosphere of the game, i don't wish to have to mute everyone as that would simply ruin the game for me. Many thanks. -
Afternoon all. I was wondering if i could change a setting to make proximity voices come through my headset rather than my TV. Im a family man and have children, and unfortunately some of the things that come through the TV are inappropriate and shouldn't be heard by an adult, let alone a child. Because you've no idea who is talking either then you can't mute them individually. If the sound came through my headset though then that would be far more acceptable, i can deal with that and not worry about things being overheard. In game chat is a huge part of day z so i don't want to have to mute everyone. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
