Im trying just now mate, but for some reason it isn't taking. Contacting the host to see if there are any other additional settings needed changed.

Guys Anyon else been able to run 1st person only, have set to expert and still have 3rd person view available..

Looks like the server file have a memory leak, every time a crash happens I get a huge memory spike just before it.. Happening to anyone else?

Anytime I am on my server, I always announce at least a ten minute warning over global after logging in as admin! Had a few thanks from randoms in direct after meeting up with them, at least it is appeciated!

Hey Guys Just wondering if there is such a way to do as the topic stats, we are restarting our server automatically every 4 hours as recommended, god knows what time it is in game when it retstarts. Although we would prefer to have at least a couple of hours day, then dusk into night fo rthe last 2.. Anyone with any info, it would be appreciated. Thanks

How about crafting weapons? Get some wood, a metal pipe, some gunpowder which you need to make. Pick up some old nuts and boots and you have made yourself a blunderbuss !

I find it rolls ever so slightly, will have a look in the cfg file tomorrow and see if I can enhance it.

Yeah I use TrackIR mate, works just as well as it does in the Arma series, although the zoom function does not work.. Well maybe it does but I haven't got it working yet :) Never had a problem with VAC etc, although it isn't protected by VAC yet I don't think.

Guys Just relaunched a dayz server, I used to own DE4 when dayz first arrived on the scene.. The people I play with are friendly and are helping new starts etc. although as usual you will find players who KOS. Filter for MBS or OcUK

Hey Mate Just popped on to say brilliant tool.. I use it for my 3 wasteland servers, never disconnects, auto reconnect after restart, brilliant! just wondering if there are 2 things that you could do? Would it be possible to enable resizing the chat window, and could you check to see if auto scroll is working properly. If I turn it of as soon as an event happens in chat etc the scroll window goes straight to that point! If you could somehow remove that, it would be perfect.. Thanks again!

You know what trig!! You try try running a server and the you will find out how fucking stupid Rocket's rules are!! So don't come on here and try the old rule book pish, it doesn't work!!

The scroll wheel will be the type of survivor he is, ie what type of suit he has on! You would also get Sniper etc!! If you study the body it tells you the correct name! In this case, shooting!

After some thought, I have decided to close down DE4... I have had the server since 1.5, at one point the server was number 2 in the world on gametrackers list of servers! This is when the problems really started, the amount of hackers coming onto the server went crazy, so crazy on fact that it dropped to number 99... After some work by myself and a few other admins, we eventually got back inot the top twenty, again DE4 was targeted by the hackers, we are back down at number 150 now!! I have always tried to keep my server clean of hacked weapons, dupers, scripters, used to spend at least an hour a night trawling logs, google searching to make sure the bans were justified.. Eventually it all got too much, the lack of support for admins is the main reason for closing it down.. The abusive emails from people I have banned was a fucking joke to be honest! I want to say thanks to my host, kocheffel of dao.nu, he has been the best server host I have had in 15 years of renting servers!! I sincerely hope that DayZ goes on to something better than this, but I have my doubts, as the server owners are treated with the utmost contempt by the majority of players out there!! Cheers

Yeah... My normal version of rcon loads them no problem.
