RDP is no longer a requirement. Leading the rest of your argument invalid. What is there to stress test if they already know what processor you have? Maybe to confirm the processor, but thats it, no sense in stress testing when they already know it works on the specified processor. Speedtest network, takes 1 minute.

Uh, VPS.. Right. no. Dedicated != VPS. Unless the are specifically saying its dedicated resources, like Hyper-V, Xen can sometimes be dedicated but unlikely for "Budget" providers. To answer your other question. Waiting day 4/5 (sent it in Monday) and I'm still waiting.

I'm aware of this. As I've said in some other posts, it would be very helpful for some Day Z admins to just give us some details to help us understand how the whole process works. A brilliant idea would be to do an "express" checkout where people can actually pay to get their instance ID's earlier or in a "guaranteed" time. Not sure how much bad rep that would get. But it would probably be a very popular addition.

Get a dedicated server. In some cases slightly more expensive, but less hassle and more control.

Right. Which is why it doesn't make sense that it takes so long... And that people who've waited 3 days get their instance ID's versus people who have waited 4.

Well good news that you got your Instance ID! It means that they are still working. which is all i really wanted to know. Sucks that it wasnt for your IP though. but congrats on having progress!

But those 500,000 players aren't sending requests for Instance ID's.

I guess I wish I knew WHY we have to wait 2 weeks when we pay for our servers... I feel like I'm wasting money and there's no way to order an instance ID before I get a server. I guess I don't quite understand what takes 2 weeks to approve something that takes 30 seconds to look over. With no constant information by Admins I feel that they are abandoning their own system.

Linux isn't supported. Also Can we get some kind of update on the forums to make sure that Instance ID requests are still being looked over? Just as an overall general response so we know that you guys are still handing out Instance ID's. Im sure this would help calm the community impatience dramatically I think you guys should modify the system so that we have to select pre-approved processors and RAM and HDD configurations as well as datacenter locations.

I hope there is a rollback on the player database... this is a mess for players whom are losing gear... Please do a rollback...
