Attachments pouch and pistol carrier to ballistic vest are currently not in this version unfortunately I've been searching for some time. Press vest is in - but ammo box?? interesting...

oh nice this is good to hear thank you. That's what I was expecting with the proximity - wishing for a simple attachment "ear piece" so only you can hear, but obs if you talk back proximity comes into effect... just a thought hay ho

A sour spot for some but totally agree because you're right. Matchmaking is key for game replay-ability. No pun intended! Controller users that have no idea about m&k will just get frustrated sooner and the game will die early. Xbox is primary used with a controller, the audience is 99% controller users. They should be separated and matched accordingly imo, I think it will be a majority over matter though. How many PC converts are there over new players. Not many I would expect. So separating the two would only be for a small majority - so the devs need to ask - is it worth it? Hard to say

Sharing is caring :D I'm more PVE (although PvP is always fun) an will be putting a group together that will be aiming for a small community of traders and procurement, anti-bandit strike teams and such for the more serious players. Since the game is still dev it's tricky to organise and plan ahead for the vision I have - want to write up an organise it, create a foundation that will, if organised correctly, function as virtual in-game community... want I don't want to see is clans server hoping for better loot/gear then trying to attack our BoO on the server we're on... thats the main drawback atm. Roll on private servers. Drop me a DM if this interests anyone.

I got most of my info from the dayz wiki - not so reliable atm - but useful. The editors of the wiki read the the code files and pull info and references for future items too. Aviation fuel, cars and parts to repair build them...and dirt bikes! yes! I sense a new clan on the horizon....hmm

Well apparently after reading somewhere on the dayz wiki, the teddy bears contain (or used to) useful items such as suppressors/bandages - however I'm not sure if that was a temp thing or they made it a perm thing (something to do with a previous Christmas update - idk) anyways, BEFORE I read this I found said teddy bear and found rags inside - so I've been ignoring the bloody bears since! haha! My search for the Nato Suppressor continues... or does it? Because I'm starting to think they only exist inside the bears.... The Teddy Bear hunt begins. So have you seen my teddy bear?

the countdown I think is just to join a crowded server. The actual population count is not always accurate but I don't think rejoining any kind of server helps locked characters, just coincidence. Your data is locked into a server. it won't release until the server says so. After kicks or crash the server needs a minute to reset its environment. then it can safely release your data. if you rejoin in this process it will bug out and lock you until the server self resets again. Always wait 1 min, no less before rejoining after crash or kick. I've not been locked in since, touch wood! :D

there is a lot of "the controls should be like this or that" so here is my suggestion and will satisfy everyone. Custom controls. Presets or course but you can assign your own button controls. Not forgetting ARMA uses every key on the keyboard - so the options available to DayZ will be hard to cram everything into a control pad. Lets keep it straight forward but custom assignment should be a must considering the depth that will be dayz

found a quite a few blood test kits, they do not seem to work on self (sometimes? - no notification?) have not tested on another player. it would be worth noting in rl bloodbags have a use-by-date. Chilled to extend life (42 days). I have had my bloodbag for a week now an not had the need to use it yet - of course that depends on play style. Point being its still in my medi pack, unused. Better to have it an not need it than not have it I guess. Wolves can take quite a bite, which is pretty cool - so if a pack catch me off guard, I would maybe have a use for my bloodbag - I'll find out properly and test it - if an when I get shot at by another player...well maybe lol ho wonder if I can lay prone swing round and shoot myself in the foot! hmmm :D

I've had this a number of times - except now, since reading the forums "if the server kicks you" for what ever reason - WAIT at least 1 min before rejoining. I haven't been locked since. I think the devs could save a lot of locking if they add a simple cool-down for server kicks. As well as logging off from a server for any battle loggers. Until they release a PVE version you will always get server hoppers - which is where I think a lot of people are mixed up with battle logs. Just a thought :)

I see thanks. That's the thing, I was hoping to stay in the wilderness and cook there, maybe dip into a town once in a while for supplies. So as it is (.63) you can only use a cooking pot to cook in a house correct?...awe shame

upgrading fire place? I found small stones but they wont add to the upgrade part of the fire place... possible to craft stone oven? I also noticed I found a stack of 8 small stones but when I came back an logged in it changed to a stack of 1...fireplace crafting bug maybe? Anyone crafted an upgraded fire place yet??

still searching... no luck... do they exist? this is getting a little frustrating now. The dayz wiki says they're in, but also tents which are being worked on. So how about pickaxe?? used to make rocks/small stone to then build a stone campfire. (the goal) The sledge hammer is only for killing stuff according to the wiki - unless anyone has had any luck getting stone with it yet?? Does the pickaxe only spawn at construction sites maybe? So strange.... I'm located far west...so maybe they only spawn far east... hoping to save the hour trek to find this is not the case. any help?

yes I'm finding loading a mag from the inventory sometimes doesn't work and just unloads mag. When I unbox 556 I drop them to the ground, then switch between the empty stag mags, point at each pile and load the mag that way. You can also avoid odd stacks this way (ideally they should really combine when you pick them back up, currently does not)

only see 2 right now... is that it. 2 servers? or are they being updated still.... Surly you're not gonna limit everyone to high pop servers? I think some of us prefer low pop to try out and practice stuff. please add back the servers or I'll wait for update servers. thanks
