  1. If real life was so great, why do so many people play video games, take drugs or read comics?
  2. Zeromentor

    Yes another sniper post.

This. The concussive power of the .50 caliber round can actually kill you from missing your head. MISSING you. That's enough to kill you. Thankfully, this isn't shown ingame. Also, hitting the pinky would not blow your arm off. It would, however, rip your hand apart, and possible shatter your lower arm up to the elbow, which may or may not break as a result.
  3. Lol, this is a feature. Have fun.
  4. Zeromentor

    uhhhh... dogs? srsly? u trollin?

I bet they won't be so friendly when they are first added. Infact, I foresee random waves of feral dog on survivor violence.
  5. Put your money where your mouth is. You have 8 hours, deliver to the forum when you are done.
  6. And so the fresh spawn drives off into the sunset, waiting for the day he finally finds that sniper that picked off the men that tried to kill him.
  7. Sometimes the gear in tents don't save properly. You have a chance that it will come back if you restart the server again. But seriously, don't dupe. Just because others do it doesn't make it the right thing to do.

How many Ghillies have you found?/When?

Twice in the church at cherno (the one near the shore/docks). Twice in tents. Once in a vehicle. I've found many civilian uniforms in both churchs, crash sites and boarding houses, so someone picked up something (probably just camo).

    Finding Vehicles Useless

Yep, most if not all clan owned servers are down for about 6 hours when they are original put up. This is called, "Testing", but in reality they are collecting and repairing the vehicles, hitting crash sites and checking out the NWAF. After that, they open the server. Non-clan servers have a similar problem, again clan related. But they are not locked while this happens. Some servers have individual hoarders. Some have collectors, and a small few are just bugged or hacked and have no vehicles. The chances of finding a vehicle in a spawn is very low due to this. Beware using vehicles on some servers, as they have a habit of "accidentally" kicking you when a friend of the admin spots you driving around. I have no proof, so I won't name names.
  10. You don't seem to understand what it takes to fix software. You can't put an ETA on it. Just get used to spawning on the coast. Imagine that it is their way to prevent server hopping and ghosting.

    Yes another sniper post.

See what I mean OP. Fools. All of them. EDIT: If it was too hard to understand, the guy SawseBawze quoted WAS the OP.
  12. Zeromentor

    Yes another sniper post.

Snippers? Oh dear God NOOOO. In all seriousness, OP, posting something like these means that the people you are attempting to talk to can actually learn. Yeah, most people can't learn. You can't teach them. You can show them differing opinions. You can't trust them to figure something out on their own, nor find an explaination to something they don't understand. Just give up, and loot the dead fools for stuff after you've dealt with the sniper, or he has left the area.
  13. If we keep it up, this can be a drinking game. In an alpha.
  14. You have to understand, you need to figure out where a full mag might be more important than a magazine with half. Otherwise you WILL end up with multiple half empty magazines, unless you find full ones later. Sure, 30 now might be better than potentially running out because you have a magazine with 10, and you only need 1 more round to get a kill against some player that is about to take out a friendly, but that 1 round is in the next mag, and the reload gets your buddy. But what happens next time if you need those 30 rounds, but you opted for 30 in a small scale fight and your 30 is now more like 25. Next time, it'll be down again and again. Soon, you'll find that ALL your magazines are equally low. This is a bad place to be. I know from experience on Ghost Recon. It's a choice you have to make. Neither answer is correct, as none of us have the ability of foresight. 30 now might mean the difference between 1 life and 1 death. But having 15 instead of 30 later might be the difference between your entire squad and theirs. Or that might not happen. Your call. And I understand the issue with reloading a full mag. Nothing I can really say to help out there.
  15. Try being 11 years old, fighting waves of AI, reloading 5 magazines with less than 9 rounds each. Bang bang bang, reload, bang bang bang, reload... All the while, you are slowly getting to the point where you get one or two bullets and then need to reload again and again, until you are out. Yeah, I can see the issue. But you get used to it. I bet they'll add an option like the one you are asking for later one. I see something similar already, with the ability to combine shotgun rounds (4 stacks of x2, into a x8 for other shotguns). So it'll take time for them to work it out, otherwise we'll have the same issue as the .45 ACP. Also, don't reload so much. I know, 15 rounds isn't as good as 30 at the start of a firefight. But plan ahead. Which is better, 3 at the start and 30 next, or 10, 10, 13?
  16. I got used to this kind of stuff in Ghost Recon. You'll get used to it as well. Of course, the only kicker is when you play battlefield or call of duty, where magazines top themselves off.

    Is anyone friendly

Friendly... What is this? But seriously, I'm friendly until a point. A. I have gear I don't want to lose to the first person I see (IE: Rare items, or guns I like). B. You have something I want. For all you know, I could be missing a compass, and a subtle pass would give away your gear. "Do you know which way is north-east?" "Yes" *BANG* I don't kill unarmed players, unless they stare at me for too long. This is only a problem if they haven't been following me around for awhile. I also don't kill people with, "MEDIC" in their name. No tag servers makes this difficult, so that is why I don't actively hunt unarmed players (that, and they tend to not have anything worth the bullets I put into them).
  18. Yeah, I feel sorry for both admins and players. I'm not sure which more. Admins pay money, so maybe them. But many cheat the system, so a little less, making it equal again. I have no idea where all these hackers are coming from. Usually it is some blog, or a forum, but the numbers are insane. I played for 5 hours, died 8 times. Friend of mine played for 4, died 10 times. All to hackers ALONE. I'm sitting back wishing battleye would just mass banwave like 20k players, innocent or not, and get it over with, instead of making my life and others' hell as we try to play a game and systematically get reset every 30 minutes by being tossed into the air, insta-capped by a teleporter, or dropped into a crowd and ripped into by an LMG. I actually jumped on my 360 to play Gears of War 3 with friends... I hate Gears.

    I hate everything

    It's been over 3 hours. He's either dead, or it's a hoax.

Lack of communication or delayed communication cause people to become anxious. Anxiety from stress makes people reaction to gut instincts. This means they have three options to consider. 1. Shot you. 2. Do nothing. 3. Get closer, attempt to declare friendly status. Well, 2 and 3 require the person to be willing to get shot, and if you have a gun you are probably not worth risking their life, so they go with 1. By "lack" of communication, I mean no way to communicate effectively over distances. By "Delayed" I mean texting. Typing takes longer than speaking, obviously, and puts you at a disadvantage if you try to say, "Friendly!" in a text, only to be blown away before you hit ENTER. So, the first instinct quickly becomes, "Shoot or Die", much like Fight or Flight. But remember, people are likely to stand their ground. They know the ground, they trust the ground, and moving to a new area can be lethal. If cornered, even if you have no weapons, they may still react with violence. And some people kill for the hell of it. EDIT: As an example, I watched a sniper and his LMG buddy light up a red house. I watched 1 person come out and die in the street. I waited, then when the coast was clear I entered the house to find 3 people dead by a wall, and another almost dead player inside by a rear wall. With only 1 round left in his enfield, and no ammo elsewhere in the house or on the bodies, he fired his last round at me. A guy with a pack of bloodbags and no weapon. So I ducked behind the wall, pulled out my axe, raced in and bludgeoned him to death. His loss. But he reacted to try to stay alive. I could have just as easily been one of the guys that killed all his friends.

    Trading for Camo Clothing

Yeah Hey OP, I'd tell you to use the search function, but it seems the threads I find are all... Yours. (This is a joke)
  22. 1. Desync, you could have stopped on the side of the road on their screen. 2. You were driving directly at them. Small movements would have done very little to dodge incoming rounds. 3. Aimbot. Always possible. But 3 rounds in ten seconds means actual aim, so that is unlikely. An aimbotter would have fired all the rounds needed to kill you in the first 3 seconds, or insta-headshotted you.
