Sniper, long shot, hit you in the head. Due to lag (server, sniper or you) the blood didn't change. Sorry man, you went to a sniper hotspot and died.

4, 5, and 6 depending on what I have and what I need (if anything). Usually, I leave those with flashlights, melee weapons and short range weapons alone as long as they don't try to close the gap between us. If I'm a recent spawn and have nothing but a gun, they are now targets for potential loot. Otherwise, I tend to avoid people. Quick Edit Story: I was recently in a town, starving to death. As I found no food and ran out of ammo trying to kill zombies for potential cans, I looted a barn for a CZ550. I started to pick off zombies from afar when another person fired a round at me. I was nearly dead, low on CZ550 rounds and had nothing to lose, so I ran around a hill, flanked weakly and scored a headshot on my attacker. 96 zombies kills and that poor soul probably thought he was saving a fresh spawn from an evil sniper. First murder of my spawn and of the day.

I wouldn't mind a wipe if everyone is involved. I'd lose a ton of guns, trucks and a bus, but I don't mind if I know everyone else is thrown to the same level. All or none.

No. Unless you add batteries into the game, and only allow NVGs to opperate for 2 hours before the batteries wear out (used batteries don't last long in open houses and on dead bodies do they?) will I agree.

Either you startled him (guy behind him with a gun and all that jazz) or he wanted your loot very badly. If it had been me, I would have fired on you, too. That kind of proximity causes anxiety when you are trying not to die. As a tip, next time try to communicate with something between you, and warn them not to point their weapon at you. Other than that, nice story.

37 is pretty high for a person that doesn't DC. Good Job :) Of course, I'm only assuming you don't DC, kill fresh spawns, or serverhop for easier kills. But if you did, your kills would be far over 50, with almost no zombie kills. Best I had was 16 and then a hacker spawned behind me and killed me, then followed me through 6 respawns on the coast before getting bored.

Suggestions? Look for every possible location for crashed UH-1 venoms. Good luck and God Speed.

I've seen odd guns ingame, from Mk16 CCO SDs, to ones similar to that mentioned above. As far as I can tell, me and my friend tested the Mk16, and after joining multiple servers and dropping it and picked it back up (he originally looted it from one of the NWAF barracks) and he wasn't banned. When he died to a player at the NWAF, I decided to leave it on his body, just in case. It had an icon, a description and used STANAG magazines if I remember correctly. Could just be super-rare (like the SVD, or rarer).

NW Airfield, guy shoots me with an M4A1 and I go facefirst into the pavement. After my buddy logged back in (stupid ALT+F4'er) he died trying to kill the guy with his pistol and not his Assault Rifle. So I hit abort and disconnect from the YOU ARE DEAD screen, and log back in to find I spawned in one of the hangars with my pistol. I switch weapons, see I still have my Enfield, and check my gear to find I respawned with my health still at 11k and all my stuff, like I never seen died (although I spawned in a hangar I didn't explore). Long story short, I walked out with my Enfield and popped my killer in the face. Poor guy probably thought he'd stumbled onto a party of 3. Me and my friends still refer to it as the 'Jesus Glitch' because you rise from the dead. Side Note: You can loot your own body.

2 Hopes I have bear traps. 1. They can't be placed indoors. 2. Anyone can disarm them whenever they want. In reality, a strong stick will do, you just can't reset it so easily.

Yeah, I used to shoot people in the leg if they got too close. All of them would disconnect as the round impacted them. Had a similar experience when I camped the Balota Air Traffic Control Tower, killing people spawning inside the lines of wire and sandbags. Sometimes they'd die, then disappear, but I wouldn't get a murder. Used to run with a group of people, one member of this group angered everyone because he'd disconnect at the first sign of danger. Rifle fire? Disconnect. Zombie? Disconnect. Can't see at night? Disconnect. Friendly dies? On another server? Disconnect and make sure it wasn't his server... I stopped playing with that guy. I'd rather die than disconnect (lost a lot of stuff I could have saved if I had), but atleast I died with dignity. EDIT: I forgot to mention, go to a server with Side Chat still enabled, grab a pair of binocs and call out player's locations inside cities. They disconnect so fast it's crazy. "Hey guy running down the street in cherno, watch out for that zombie!" ALT+F4

Once found a guy with a makarov holding off an army of zombies. I ran in helped out pointed my M16 at the floor and asked the guy if he had a compass. He ignored me as he looted the bodies, so I asked him in text in direct chat to make sure he understood me. When I said I'd give him my MP5 for a compass, he turned around and popped me in the head, insta-killing me. Pointless killing. I ran back, collected my M16 that he left, killed him on the road a mile south and looted back what he took, finding he had 2 compasses packed in his (or should I say my) ALICE pack. I don't get these people. I found one guy in electro with a broken leg. He asked for help, offered his pistol, which I declined, and waited as I raced off (fresh spawn, no gear on me) to look for morphine. Lucky for him, I found a corpse with a bunch of stuff on it (M1911, Lee with no ammo, morphine, blood pack, etc) and I raced back to help him. I repaired his leg, followed him to the electro store and backed him up as we took sniper fire. But that wasn't enough. Another player taking fire ran into the store, and attempted to kill us with a crossbow. We returned fire and he disconnected (reconnecting later to get eaten by zombies thanks to the 5-minute uncon timer). When the random friendly finally took a sniper round and died, another person stormed the store for the loot. I placed a round in his back as he raced by, thinking he was the sniper. He wasn't. I returned to my hiding spot, hoping the zombie horde gathering outside wouldn't signal there to be life inside the store, but once again another person came in. Now I was freaked out as he ran straight at me, so I fired a Lee Enfield round at him and killed him. Another person ran into the store firing an AK at everything that moved, and hit me and a large number of zombies. When the zeds were dead, he finished me off, only to die to another guy outside armed with a shotgun. When I returned later, I found another few bodies added to the pile (none looted) and the schoolhouse had been blown up, along with the wreckage of some truck. All I have to say is: Reddit Servers are wierd.

People I ran with put tents up next to rocks in a tree line, yet I couldn't place tents on flat ground without trees... Alpha is buggy, it pretty much defines itself that way. Just keep trying, maybe even relog, or find another spot.

Either you tried to copy and paste from notepad or similar, or your english is so bad you used a faulty translator. Disregarding that, your death could have been caused by logging into a location with a camper (inside of a special building, such as Air Traffic Control towers, Barracks, Hangars and the like) or you could have spawned infront of someone. Otherwise, you could have bugged into a tree or nearby building, causing death, or been killed by a hacker (unlikely, but possible). There is a small chance that you were shot the last time you logged out, and due to lag it didn't register the damage until you logged back in. I've seen this happen before.

I had this happen on one specific server, and I tried to change my graphics to see what caused it. Nothing worked, so I disconnected and rejoined. Nothing. Then I closed out the game, and totally restarted it. Fixed the problem for me. It could be the graphics card, though, some intel media chipsets have this issue. AA forced on a graphics card might also do this, but I doubt your friend did that (note: Forced AA will not show up as an option ingame, he needs to check whatever command console he runs the card from, such as Nvidia, Catalyst, etc) Good Luck. *It could also be the server, but that is doubtful as it's an easy fix to just change servers and test*

Okay, many people on these forums label ANY kind of class based system (crafting, spawning with different gear, full-blown classes) as a Class System. They don't want it, it isn't going to happen unless Rocket changes his mind completely. Have fun ingame, classes aren't happening. And by the way, I'm a computer nerd, sociopath, correctional offcier (resigned). You can actually be a lot more than JUST a doctor, or JUST a marine special forces captain. For all you know our 'Survivors' we play with are an Ex-Army Medic with hobbies in Mechanics and Flight Simulators.

Grumble grumble grumble, snort= You are fine, keep low and at a distance. GRAAAA, Snarl Snot Snarl, or generic WoW Murloc noises= Here comes the horde. Louder means closer, and higher pitch means they are more interested in something, whether that be a smoke grenade, dead body or YOU.

Okay, I've used two built in laptop mics, and I will tell you: PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY AND GOOD IN THE WORLD, WEAR A HEADSET! I don't care if you only wear ear plugs, but if you talk and someone else talks at the same time, there comes an infinite loop, which is the most annoying thing in the world, and it only stops when you stop inputing. Please, don't make us suffer for your cheap wallet. (Also make sure that nothing loud is playing in the background, [iE: Music, Netflix, Other Games] and the community will be mostly fine, barring those that hate your voice)

2-stars and a lack of replies tells me the community doesn't care about the crossbow. Oh well, I guess it'll be another weapon nearly no one uses.

Oh God No. Ammunition (excluding Crashed Helo Ammo) is not rare enough for a crafting system for it. As it is now, almost no one has an ammo issue outside of fresh spawns or those running with FN Fals and .50 cal rifles. (And Bizons)

Classes are a big No. Sorry. Crafting under classes won't even be looked at, outside of mild mockery topics.

Bad Idea, they could just leave everything there all the time and have a complete refit ready when they die. Pretty much how it is now is the same, but they have to walk (or drive and waste fuel) back to camp. I'd rather make them suffer :P (So it doesn't look bad for me, I have a camp, trucks, a bus and a van, and I'd rather have to walk back after a death, which I'm too lazy to do anyhow. More fun on the coast, fresh or not)
