I've pretty much gotten a decent handle on the game, major cities, most items..... My issue is when I start getting goo gear, food water, good weapons, lots of ammo I always die to an unknown person. I would say most of my deaths are from people I can't see. Whenever I go out of a building, or move somehwere I always check around the area, whether that be me zooming in a bit, or what not. Yes, sometimes it's snipers, but if it is how come I never spot them. Every sniper can't own a ghillie. NEXT I found a DMR and an AKM and picked up the DMR with 2 cartrades (40 shots) I shot at 1 person while in the top of the firehouse and needless to say I agroed over 40 zombies. I had to keep using my DMR shots (1 per zombie) to kill them, and they kept coming, over and over till I had used up the 40 rounds and I had to use an axe. My question is, how do you snipe people without agroing millions of zombies, especially using the DMR?

Thank you kind sir. And to the other person, I don't think these are new player things, they're more advanced extras. What noob needs to barrell roll?

Really want to know how some of these extra things work. How do I throw grenades or chems How do I use binoculars with my lee enfield to see farther (not at same time obviously) How do I climb over barbed wire, sand bags, or anything that can be climbed over. How do I spin, or barrell roll? Also where are the uber weapon spawns? People have like scoped snipers and awesome machine guns that I've never seen. I only ever get weapons from elektro and sometimes cherno, rarely outside. Any help on any of these topics would be awesome!

Wow thanks for the answers. I obvously new it didn't tear my glass screen >< but I didn't know if it negativly affected my graphics card. Will turn it off :)

I'm not really that good with computer hardware and the inner workings of it. I read somewhere that turning off vsync will increase fps by a bit. It also said don't turn it off if you get screen tearing. What is screen tearing? If I turn Vsync off, will screen tearing do any unrepairable damage to my game, screen or anything in general? Like I said, I have no clue about this, so I realize this is probably really simple ><

I have a dell studio 1458. i5 core, 2.4GHz 4.00 GB ram, 3.86 usable 64 bit operating system My graphics card is ATI Mobility Radeon HD 540v (I think) So basically I get about 12-15 FPS at all times, usually laggy when I'm running from one area to another. What settings and other things can I do to improve? I also use the six launcher, so I don't know how that affects it. My main problem is my character is hard to aim and is laggy. I can also play most games well on high graphics, but fps games are really wierd with settings are cpu usage. I can play sc2, diablo, isaac, league of legends.... ALSO: David standefer, if you read this I was Enfrozt the guy with the shot gun, and I'm sorry we both fell off stairs and somehow broke our legs and went unconscious, it was cool that you respawned <3

I actually like it way more like this O.o It's actually playable.

A month ago I couldn't even play this game. So many zombies agroing from a mile away. Now I'm actualyl enjoying the game and the zombies seem retarded. Was there a nerf to the zombies?

I'm not saying I know a ton, I'm obviously new. But waiting and crawling for 30 minutes to have a "chance" at a gun spawn is kind of bad gameplay. Also let's say after the 30minutes I walk 1 step and every zombie around me comes at me, it's over.

I'm not literally running, but no matter where I go in a town (remember 40 deaths) I always agro zombies BEFORE I get a weapon. PvP is not even an option because I can never get a weapon because I just die to agro zombies. If I run from zombies, I agro more and it's a cycle.

I've tried actually getting into the game, finding weapons etc and recently I've died about 20 times trying to play. > Spawn, run to town >once at a small or large town I try and crouch walk, even holding shift at times to not agro zombies >almost always agro 1 zombie and not a weapon >it's pretty much game over after you agro 1 because trying to get away without agroing more is almost impossible. I've found 3 weapons in my total 40 deaths playing the game. 2 hatchets on 2 attempts, and needless to say they are pretty bad. I managed to find a shotgun from a dead guy and used it for a bit, until I ran out of ammo and someone killed me off. --Basically, spawn, no weapon, to get one I need to go to a town, zombies guard towns, no weapon to kill zombie... etc it's a repeating cycle. Don't tell me to try and be more stealthy and to crawl the way through the city, because I did that and it is no fun. Eventually you want to travel from one store to a next, and you agro a zombie. Also weapon spawns seem stupidly low. I am new, and understand the game, watched videos know most of the controls but still getting that first weapon and NOT agroing zombies is at best 1/20 shot, even then getting enough ammo is even smaller.

I'll look into the keybindings, but there are literally like hundreds. About the specs, I have a 1100$ dell studio. i5 core, 4gb ram, 2.4ghz (processing power.) I can run diablo, starcraft, tf2 etc on usually med-high graphics with 0 problems. My dayz isn't terribly laggy, but when I move left to right it's a tad shaky and doesn't seem to be as smooth as in destinys stream.
