(XBOX ONE) When will the inventory items getting stuck in containers going to get fixed? I was told that if you move stuff from your hands into boxes, barrels, or tents that it bugs out and gets stuck, but its happening to me and my friend no matter how we move the item into the storage. Its making us move at a snails pace in order to build our base, and over time, over half of our inventory is stuck and we just end up quitting for the night until server resets or the next day. I want to build and play the game, but with bugs like this that prevent me from getting the items I need to craft or progress, why should I play? The only thing I really can do is KOS on official servers just for fun and thats it... Can we get a Hot Fix soon please? I would love to "Survive" and play the game like it was meant to be played.

Also by doing this, it keeps them from having to shut down the entire game just to update servers with new crap. Instead, they can show a message to players on screen saying, "Server going down for Maintenance in 15 minutes." or something like that. Then they can update each server one at a time so players can hop back into their favorite server with in a couple of minutes, instead of having servers for the entire game shut down for hours. I see more people pissed and stop playing the game for having to wait hours to play because Bohemia is too lazy to go through a more organized route in performing maintenance on their servers. Does it suck to go through each individual server as a Dev to fix something, probably so, but it beats loosing your player base.

Nothing is simple with these developers. Something that a Triple A company could simply flip a switch for, these people have to take vacations in the psych ward and cry their lives away in tears over the most simple fixes in a video game. You can ask them to change a color of a shirt in the game, and their response would be, "Guys, you don't understand, its not that simple of a fix ok. We CAN'T just change a color of a shirt. Too high grade for us." If they can wipe your character after a few server hops to combat duplicating and Combat logging, then they can do what I had suggested above. Don't lock characters to servers. Just simply wipe a character every time some one changes to a different server. Update everything back to normal where guns spawned as they use to, materials spawned like usual, and slap people with a character wipe for changing servers. When a character enters a server, that characters data is stored with in that server in order for you to navigate your inventory and items pertaining to that specific server. When you leave the server, your character data is still attached to that server so when you come back the next time you play, everything from you tent, barrels, inventory, etc, is all still there. When people decide to server hop, it screws with the Character Data connected with the servers, then you get a Data Lock for hoping too many times and then the Devs are stuck with having to baby people who can't sit still on one damn server. Duplicates became a problem because the game is trying to keep up with what server your character data is connected to, then when it hick ups, it ends up copying the data which causes the duplicate items. Hints the reason why people had to jump and leave servers depending on time limits, waiting the 15 seconds, or leaving instantly. People who are complaining about not wiping characters, or locking characters to servers, are more than likely people who either Duplicate when they can, Ghost players, or server hop for loot. People need to stop treating this game as a loot and shoot, and learn how to play survival games, and the only way to make the community stop trying to cheat and exploit the system, is nip it in the bud by simply wiping them if they decide to start on a new server. Doing this would make the game more related to its survival genre, make people trade more, make people actually think before KoSing, and form factions and alliances, politics, you name it. The game would start showing its true potential once people cared about their saved progress, what they did in the current server they are progressing in, and wasn't able to exploit loot by being able to server hop in the first place. Sometimes you got to close doors to open better doors. The only people I see that won't like this are the key server hoping exploiters who want it too easy.

So your version of combating the Duplication Exploit is to be as lazy as simply lower the amount of Ak's, M4's, and apparently storage items like Barrels and Tents? Me and my friend have yet to find one barrel nor one AK for the past 2 weeks. Either you screwed up other items by this last update by making them limited as well, or you took the lazy route to minimize the amount of dupping by making the game almost depriving of the key elements needed for storage. Last time I checked, you couldn't kill people with a Tent or Barrel, so even if those items were duplicated, they were only storage items. Is the solution to this problem this difficult to understand? Simply make each server dedicated to one characters player progress. If a Player wants to join a new server, then give them a warning dialog / screen that tells them that if they switch servers, they will loose all player progress. Then you will get these players that love to ruin the game by exploiting these features to stop pulling this shit. In my opinion, I don't understand why you guys didn't choose the route to make each server unique for players to have characters for each new server they start just like Ark Survival Evolved. Just because another game has this system, doesn't mean you can't use the same system as well. Its pretty sad to see the day that Devs decide to work around Bugs and Exploits, instead of FIXING the problems like they get paid to do. For all those who may ask, "What about playing with our friends on another server?" 1. Well to begin, if they are your friend, you both should be choosing a server to play together in. 2. If you are worried about your friend starting with nothing when he or she joins a new server, then I will be mindful to simply say, "WELCOMING TO THE SURVIVAL GENRE!" 3. And lastly, if you are a good friend, you should already have some gear set aside to help your friend get a good start in your server you both will be playing in. KEY NOTE: Once this can become a thing, politics, community / clan play, trading supplies, etc will forcefully start becoming reality instead of Combat Logging and Ghosting 24/7. I know that your character can get wiped if you jump servers too much, but that doesn't eliminate the problem of players who DON'T CARE about their loot and just want to troll. If you implement this feature, I am sure you will get more dedicated players and limit the amount of exploits that concern hoping servers. Start thinking about fixes like this, instead of thinking on how to alter the game to simply work around an issue. And to all those who want to cry about how it's "unfair" to lock the servers in this way and how it wouldn't be "fun," Its a survival game and its meant to be as realistic and difficult as possible in a zombie apocalypse setting. The Genre itself is suppose to be difficult. I see too many of you in these forums that treat this game as just a literal Loot and Shoot to just die and do it all over again, instead of pushing ways for players to play the game as the genre it was developed in. This is what everyone has been waiting for in the 8 years Bohemia has been procrastinated and sitting on their asses. Now that its here, we want the best survivalist experience we can get out of the game, not just another loot and shoot that gives no reasoning for trading, building, farming, etc. These features only apply to roleplay at the moment due to the very fact that people can just hop servers and so if this is the case, half of the content in the game that was put in is worthless until players are stripped of the exploits and play the genre as it was meant to be played. TO SURVIVE!

Thank you for the full detailed patch notes to help show a lot of us on whats being worked on and finished. Now we have some new stuff to play with. Of course I agree with other players who have stated that optimization and working on the FPS should now be prioritized so the game can rebuild back into something more stable for all the new content. Good job and Good luck.

I just think its so odd on how everything I have stated has been based on the conversation of the game and the developers improvement of the game, while in the mean time, you have started to dive into trying to dig up as much personal information as possible to use as your form of "Constructive Criticism" against me. Just because you don't like the streams, doesn't mean others don't. I never stated anything of trying to create your so called "Mob." I clearly just stated that there are other players who have stated the on going frustrations and issues that shouldn't even be going on for a game that has been in a beta state for all those years. I believe you to be a journalist, because I truly notice how you try to make up scenarios about me that was never stated and how you have been digging around my social media to get information of some sort about my stream channels. Im just a guy who is willing to be a critic to good or bad video games. I do play a lot of video games. So im willing to give my honest opinion on what I feel should happen among the Developers decisions. I've also noticed that your the only one making a big trip about this whole entire conversation, while all of my statements have stood firm and focused on the purpose of these threads and forums. Its a video game dude. Agree to disagree and move along. Stop trying to be a journalist in a video game forum, and go back to CNN where all the fake news continues to subside.
-
Your just proving my point of all of my recent statements. Instead of following what we are talking about, the only thing you could do was try to get personal. Thanks i guess for checking out my social media? No, I was not willing to stick around for 8 years of wasted time, just to hope that this game would have some sort of future. You, of course, are obviously very dedicated to justifying their actions no matter the cost. No, I'm not a journalist. I'm just a gamer with common sense on what a majority of players would love in this game, compared to those who continue to worship. You obviously seem VERY frustrated to hear anyone talk down or have Constructive Criticism for this game or Devs for how long you have been waiting in hopes that this game would serve your gaming purpose. Don't blame you I guess, knowing that you wasted 8 years waiting on an unfinished game, and now its finally here, no matter how broken it is, to play on the Xbox. It is disappointing, but I can see the light of hope to those like you who have been waiting on this for that long. People like me, who live in reality, is willing to give my feedback, no matter if its good or bad. Its obvious for how long it has been taking us to reply to each other, that we understand that we both are busy people. So all I can say in response is, you can create your own version of Facts all you want to, and I already know you will probably reply the same way back to me, but the point still stands that for them to benefit and create a real future for this game, their greatest option is to explain all the details of their patch notes and continued game development if they want to maintain any sort of a player base. This is the 3rd time I have clarified this point. Obviously if you still don't understand, its because you don't WANT to understand. Sorry for loosing those 8 years. Its a great tragedy. My condolences!

@Man Parts 241 @Cookster1234 @xtyredx @McPhorce @BATTLEAXXE and plenty more players in these forums all have clear statements why they have either stopped playing, the bugs that have been stated since day one again, Again, and OVER and OVER AGAIN! or how we have not been given proper details, even though we payed in our support by $40 to help beta test this game. Its one thing for updates and bugs to take time. That's understandable, but its different when the testing players are listing all the bugs, and obviously speak of whats most important to be focused on, and they are seemingly getting ignored for misc problems that can surely wait. This may hint why players still complain about the problems in the game, because we are all left hindered to understand what is being worked on and whats on hold when none of the full details in patch notes or anything else for that matter is given. All im asking from them is to start showing a bit more hospitality and a little less attitude toward a community that has every right to be upset for the past 8 years. Just like a long lost father that leaves their kid, then 8 years later, they suddenly think everything is fine and want to be a "Father" to them again. Hell nah! Explanation will be demanded and soon.
-
Just because they may have 300+ members in their studio, doesn't mean 300+ members are working on this game dude. Stop blinding yourself by raging on people who actually want to see improvement made on a game they had looked forward to, and you can also stop patting game devs heads and telling them that everything they do is ok like a little child. These are the reasons why games today get screwed up so much because of 'justifications" from players like you who have no intent on helping the game improve.
-
I already knew that what i had stated was going to strike a nerve with some of you "fanboys" in the community. Play the Shining White Knight all you want to. It doesn't change the fact that the game had been stalled for way too long and its way over due on so many levels. 300+ employees? And they can't even get the basics completed before deciding to push out a game? Its a joke. Facts or Rumors, it doesn't matter, because the problem still stands that they made players wait and now are nit picking the crap out of the game and the player base is seriously tired of it. Keep lying to yourself that "Everything will be just fine." for the next couple of years, while the rest of us are having a blast on Fallout 76 and Surviving the wasteland. If the company doesn't care about how to properly detail their problems to the players, then why should players care about the game? Trust me, I could care less about politics because all it leads to is crooks who use "facts" as your form of justifying the problems that still stand in front of us. Facts or Rumors, Behemia still has to deal with the same problem. You can shout "Facts" all day bro, just shows how much your willing to avoid the actual problems in the development of this game.
-
I will admit, ive given this game a break for about a month and half now to let time pass for new content and bug fixes. I see that with this game being a game preview, you all are updating it pretty often, which in some cases is a good thing, but only to the point to where you all can continue to say, "We are working on it." Everyone knows about the 8 long years this game has been stalled out on PC, and during the time with Chief Devs quitting and taking their money with them. So now we are left with whats left of the company that, in turn, actually want to complete this game, but doesn't seem you all want to deal with the needy gridy updates or the raging fans. It's understandable, because why not get the easy stuff out of the way first, being that the studio team is pretty small even compared to BlueHole studio. It sucks that what's left of Behemia, is stuck with having to complete an 8 year old, long past due game, and having to deal with the raging players wondering where you all have been all this time. The point I'm stating here is that, your all ready dealing with plenty of upset players wondering why this game disappeared, then suddenly out of no where, its released 2 days after it gets announced for game preview? In my opinion, that was probably the biggest mistake you made, because now that the console players, who have been wishing they could get a taste of this survival game for the long 8 years of waiting and watching Twitch streamers play it, are now wanting to devour this game and savor every moment they can get. I understand part of survival is to explore and learn all the new snags and tricks in the game, but it's obvious that this is not going to be the average survival game due to the massive hardships your company has went through, and also inflicting on people who waited.....ill repeat, WAITED, 8 YEARS to finally play YOUR zombie survival game. Its surprising this many people grasped this game with open arms when your announced it, and you should probably be more grateful about it. Your update notes will continue to get ridiculed by players in these forums because they want every detail to every fix for a game they decided to buy after waiting this long to invest in you and the game. We all payed $40 to see this long awaited game finally come to life and to support your studio team in the middle of this Beta/Game preview and help see it to the end. So the least that could be done is give ACTUAL detailed update notes so we ALL can understand the full extent of your work being put into the game, and then people may just finally start giving your guys a bit more patients and credit for what your are and trying to accomplish. The odds have been stacked against you Behemia, you announced your game for console, so now you need to deal with us players/customers who have been waiting TOO long for this type of game to evolve into something we all are trying to support you for. All I believe this community is asking in return, is for more detailed patch notes, and obviously a bit more focus on the type of bugs that have obviously been game breaking material. 2 months in now. If you don't have the man power to get too deep with the major bugs, all we ask is to be updated and to keep us informed on getting the major problems fixed. Ask for help with videos or whatever else needed. I believe there are plenty of experienced community dwellers here that would love to help keep the forums up to date and active with the latest news and notes for the players to calm down with. Feel free to possibly recruit the best ones that can start helping with keeping the forum riots to a minimum. Can we start seeing possibly a little more courtesy to your player base Behemia? (P.S. To all the 'Beta Justice Warriors' out there that are continuously bashing these forum threads with the same statement, "Its a BETA!" I wonder if you ever thought of how long you are willing to continue to make the same statement to people who give honest feedback? Have you all been making the same statement for the past 8 years for this game? Stop accepting everything that is handed to you. Its sad that games are going in reverse with including as little content as possible, and people like you are accepting it. You are supporting gamers and Devs to do as little as they want to push out a game because they feel, no matter how bad the game, people are still going to buy and play. Once this stops, we all as a gaming community can start thriving with some pretty bad azz games!)
