Sup ya'll, Just thought i'd start a thread to compile a list of good DayZ players who upload to YouTube. I for one like watching a video or two in bed on my ipad before I go to sleep. Are there any entertaining YouTuber's that play DayZ that you know of? I've watched all of speedyw03's DayZ videos which are hilarious, and I have just discovered a Youtuber called M1NDR who's an excellent DayZ player, he creates exceptional content, my fave video of his is called 'Survivors on the radio' which has a very sad ending. Post your faves channel names! Look forward to hear your submissions.

Well for me M1NDR is killing it right now! I never get sad watching youtube videos but his narrative and music really pulls at my heart strings! Meets up with guys, plays with them for ages, then they die and the sad music comes with montages of his dead friend whom he will never speak to again, DAMN that makes me feel sad af dude. M1NDR is my fave :) Maybe i havent given Frankie a proper chance but watched a couple of his videos and I wasnt as hooked as i am M1NDR, unless someone can link a fave video of his as an example?

The option to tie people comes up but it is bugged out at the moment so it doesnt work :/

You obviously have no idea how the game works if you are going to give up after one death, you need to learn how to not get attached to your character and its belongings, this game is a bit of a learning curve at first. I personally died 3 or 4 times before i managed to survive a week without dying, it takes time and practice. It was most likely that you died of starvation, deyhydration or someone could of shot you and you may not of heard as @Eeyeoretherealone mentioned. This has happened to me before, but I was stupidly running across an airfield without wearing any protective gear then i heard a slight bang and I black screened and died :(

If you have the correct ammo, drop the ammo on the floor or you can keep it in your inventory, hold the empty mag in your hand, then go over to the ammo press B (combine option may not show) then press and hold RT to load them. To open boxed ammo put the ammo box in your hand then press and hold RT :) Also double check you have the correct magazine too, i made the mistake of trying to load 556 into an AK mag for a good half an hour when i first started, learnt my lesson very quick. Hope this helps.

I see, looking at his videos he only makes DayZ Arma 3 videos, are they the same as the Standalone? I am at work so I haven't actually managed to watch anything as of yet.

Yes they are for sure in the game. I nearly got mauled to death by a pack of 3. I panicked so much that I forgot how to load my gun! Luckily I got there in the end, I was like a panicked person who jammed his gun irl! But yeah you do not want to encounter a pack without a gun else your screwed, the OP trying to kill them with a machete would of never succeeded, but i guess you gotta try right? But yeah if you hear howling........RUN! Get to the nearest building as quick as you can, unless you got fair amount of ammo then just unload your lead into them, pause. Wolves didn't seem to lag or glitch for me they seemed to perform pretty well in the game.

From what i've seen though vehicles on PC are extremely laggy af, so even when we get vehicles dont expect them to work very well

I really like the idea of the branches snapping when stepping on them etc but this sound could get annoying as they would have to code it in such a way it doesnt repeat the same sound over and over again, so potentially it could sound pretty crappy if in an area where this could happen a lot...... If you get what i mean?

Not really I don't think, but fuel is needed to burn the fire else it will burn out quick. -
Vaulting, Bleeding Animation, blood trails would be pretty cool but probably very difficult to implement, Disease, Bows, Base Building, Vehicles, Leaning, More Emotes (surrender/point), Day/night cycle, Zombie Hordes and Ghillie suit would be nice :) Just having everything PC has :)

To make a campfire combine a long stick with a bandage, chop some firewood and Micromanage it into the fireplace fuel once it is setup :) -

If you could chat on Discord via the xbox and then it would be as easy as PC by just toggling to chat in both at the same time, pity with all these advances in technology they cant seem to sort the basic logic of communication out in a game like this....... -
