I'm not sure if this is what was meant by "server reporting incorrect number of max slots" but while on the server list some servers show 20 - 40 players but will sometimes have up to a 50 player queue. Also some severs show the population as 0 - 10 and when trying to join you get sent back to the sever list, no matter how many times you repeat trying to join you always end up back at the server list.
