lol. "leet gear". I Saw people whining about NVG and your setup is worth nothing. I´ve lost stuff to nukes and insta death aswell, but whining about it doesnt make it any better. Dont get to attached to your gear and you´re fine. But that has been mentioned like 100 times before. Afterall, collecting all the gear is some major part of the whole gaming experience.

Bump Our group has exact the same bug.

Our two sniper just got their hand on the AS-50 for each and its way better then the m107. Firing the m107 sound like a Tank shooting at you and the as-50 sounds like a pistol.

if you log out while knocked down or in need of painkiller etc, you will log in again lying on the ground. Afaik this is meaned for server hoppers and Disconnecters. You sir, are a disconecter and deserve it.

this is actually pretty helpfull... NOT. We meet another "Survivor" with a female skin, she found us per accident and shot one of us. At that moment we where 3. He died, so only 2 left. He replied to us where is was, so we took point to catch her on the way to us. We waited for like 5 minutes, heard nothing and then suddenly gunshots, my mate was down. He was not dead, just knocked out. I ran to him, burst fired on the other "guy" and killed him. After healing my buddy I looked at the corpse and only while stand right in front of it, I heard the very fast heartbeat. So overall, this feature is pretty useless. When you hear it you are dead or he/she is.

We just where on the NWAF, seems like a server hopper logged in when we where at the southern Barracks. He killed on of our members, logged out then. Stayed in Lobby for a while and connected back in again. Of course I dont have any proof, because i didnt run fraps24/7. But his name was "Bekifftes_Frettchen". I Only do know that because the other two of us gunned him down. This has just killed a group of a total 4 players. Just this asshole, exploiting the server hop shit. I am not mad, just wanted to report it.

not really a rare gun. Less often then the "normal ak´s" but still nothing to wet your pants about. We just found yesterday and m24 in a deerstand, that is basicly somewhat rare.

Im, that means me and my group, never shoot on sight. We´re playing for quite some time now. Mostly we just let people pass by and watch them, sometimes, when theyre close, we just hide somewhere till theyre gone. You wouldnt believe how many people just ran past us, not more then 2 metres away. :D Or Vehicles driving near us, when we hide in a bush next to the street. We just let them pass and head for another direction. Yesterday, after we all died on DE4 due to some hacks, we started over and happened to just met another random survivor at the Balota airfield. He was obviously scared to death as he noticed us, because he layed on the ground and tried to crawl away. He was alone and only had a Hatchet, we where two and had a AK on my buddy. He was just standing there and watching us, holdig onto his hatchet. My buddy kept distance, I approached and told him over Direct VON "We´re friendly, we wont shoot you. Please just dont Follow us" Worked fine aswell, but afterall, i think if he had a gun, he had tried to shoot us. Thats the way it is. You cant argue most time with the folks, you just need to avoid them if possible.

i´ve been there too with 2 mates with me. the really sad thing is, we just logged in basicly because the server we where on before crashed. My mates where really pissed, like just joining the server and instantly dying. Marker if it helps, look for "Leitbild" "W33dm4st3r" and "Pvt.Paula" to connect, happened about right after we connected.

My oldes char was about 9 days old (30 playhours or something), was wandering with a mate when the night hit. I wanted to put the gamma a bit up, accidently hit the respawn button then the options. ._.

Srsly guys, i Like the idea but you´re missing one major thing. How about server crash or kick while in a firefight or something? Had this myself once or twice, killing zeds and suddenly "waiting for server response". And I was randomly kicked while looting a town, too. So what about that? How about you are looting a town and killing some zeds and suddenly a server forced disconnect, next time you log in you´re dead because of that. I totaly understand the need for a system against that exploit but it needs to be better then this. Saw often enough DC while fighting, but simply killing them is not the right way.

Allright: -I was launched in space once by a Rock -Got eaten by a Rock -Spawned twice in the ocean after putting on some Fancy dress -Fell of a Roof while gettin prone -and I was attacked once by a Flying zombie Gotta love this game tough.

I really enjoyed reading the side chat, even though I didnt used it often for myself. Often only to answer the newbie questions. I kindah miss reading it while jogging trough the woods. Allways made me smile if "Whos shootin in cherno/elektro?". :)

Simply deal with it. Respawn. Had to do it myself a few times. Dont get to used to your stuff. The Collecting of your gear is a major part of the Mod. There is no point in complaining.

I just wanted to say Thank you I wanted to thank you for this great mod, the great experience it offers and all the Features and Gameplay elements, that where Announced on so many other games and you guys just did it as a mod. Thank you for your time and effort, you´re putting into this. Thank you for the new sounds and animations. I´ve read this Forum since 1.6 and never saw a Thread like this. I Knew this community is about 80% terrible in all manners but not even a small thank you? You guys definitly deserve at least some Thanks for this great mod. I´ve ever dreamed of a game like this. The experience and atmosphere is unique. I´ve played a hell lot of games but no single game managed to get my pulse up, when pulling a trigger against other Humans. Im not a Bandit and i´m not a fan of PVP, but its part of the game. Anyway, just a simple Thank you. Thats it, now call me a rocket fanboy or something. These guys just derserve some credit.

Well, I expect some hate tbh but nice to see not everyone is a douché in this community :P The newbs opening new threads for every allready known problem are very common in every game. Usually I´m an rts player and all you see, when checking on the forum are whining about balance and how their favourite unit is way too weak and squishy and all. Even though its still an Alpha, I rarely had so much fun and joy with a game. DayZ set the Survival horror genre on a new Level like counterstrike did for every competive FPS or Starcraft for every competive rts. Even though this game isnt competive at all.
