Seriously? I get wiped twice since being back just a week or so ago, start a new character again last night, travel to one of my loot stash's near a spawn city and realize everything was still there. Awesome, so I start traveling to my larger stash with most of my guns, now you kick me from the only server Ive been playing on... Thanks. I don't mine PVP and starting over, but I'm tired of being on high pop servers where everything is looted before I get there. If you want mil gear, forget it. Might as well just start server hopping like everybody else seems to be doing. As far as being killed on sight wether your fresh or geared I get it, its part of the game. I did it every chance I got in the beginning. Now I guess karma has gotten me back. It's tiring to be shot only a few minutes after spawning, or after making a long trek to a loot stash (since I don't hide the good shit close to spawns). My buddies stopped playing because of the constant pvp and I kinda don't blame them. Play how you like though guys, eventually it'll just be KOS people playing, which if thats what you like the game will be awesome. I've got to put this on the back burner again though, I would have kept going if my stash's stayed persistent through wipes like they seemed to have last night, but now you give my home server away?!... I'll see how it is again in a few months then.

Whats the top right of the screen say for name? That will be the character that gets loaded into the game even if it shows your main character on screen. If you can't get the name to switch quit day z through the xbox menu, switch to your secondary account (you can leave your main signed on) and load the game back up and it should switch. Works for me switching between 3 characters.

With how bad the servers have been who’s to say he wasn’t having issues? So many times I’ve spawned in just to have my character glitching about, I’ve seen people and thought sh*t, if they come after me I’m done... so I run, hide, log out, and find a server that isn’t giving me issues. Ive looted a lot of military areas, one area I couldn’t make it through all the barracks (there were 4) before my game would disconnect on me. Sure it’s essentially server hopping to benefit my character loot wise, but I couldn’t stay connected to any one of them for more then 15 minutes. So I took advantage of a frustrating situation lol.

I've got three characters currently in different parts of the map. I'm trying to use one as a mule to meet up with a buddy/my other tags thats carrying guns/ammo/bacon. I only move him on low pop servers and not very far since they usually fill up quick lol. My second dude is more of a serious account trying to get the most out of Day Z by exploring everywhere, trying to craft different stuff, cook ect ect. I'm not looking to just out right kill people but obviously have to defend myself since everyone just wants to fight. Then there's my most frequently played character lately who I call the "Berezino Butcher" lmao. I mule AR's/SMG's and ammo to him through a buddy with my main account then just stalk/kill/make human steaks out of people in spawn towns lol.

Dude, thanks alot! I held Y and spammed A from within the inventory when the gun was on the ground and it picked the mag up out of the gun and fixed my issue!
-
I’d say M416, only gun that hasn’t given me issues with the mag yet lol. If I can ever find a scope for my Mosin, and they fix the fact that I’ve got to go into my menu and press B to load a round every time, it may be my second favorite. I’ve had an AK, a few .380 pistols, 2 skorpions, and a .45 USAG? All glitch out on me. I realized after a while of screwing them up, if you have the gun in your bag with no mag in it, then pick up a mag into your inventory. It goes into the gun but the game acts as if it’s not there. Can’t unload it or just load a new one. From there on out you have to load each round by hand. Havn’t figures out a fix for it yet.

Each item has a number, each back pack has a limit to how many items it can hold and those items can’t equal more then 35.

Inventory system, looting potential improvements/ideas
SquanchyGamer replied to BradEFC's topic in Xbox
The way I've heard it explained is the bag has a weight limit, say 110 of the Alice and a slot limit that we don't know about. Thats where the teddy bear, cooking pot, protector case come in handy being able to store extra items. I agree, we need a much better system then it is currently. I don't mind having to hide somewhere to organize as long as it does what I want and isn't clunky. To many times do I sit there dropping stuff, moving items in and out of cases, playing to guessing game on what will go where to optimize what I can carry. Looting dead body's is also very slow. Some other inventory issues i've noticed with the .380 pistol, and one AK so far is when the gun is currently in the bag or on my back unloaded. If I pick up a mag, fully loaded or unloaded, it will automatically go into the gun. When I equip the gun It acts like there isn't a mag in it, won't load a round unless its one by one, and I can't drop the mag from it. -
I got my first revenge kill last night... I was looting Berezino which I know like the back of my hand now since most of my new characters start here. I see a duo roll up on me at the police station who were immediately hostile, they take a few shots at me but a zombie horde runs them off from all the noise. I could have just dipped at this point but I figured screw it, I take out one of them in the confusion then chase the other guy down where the engagement didn’t end in my favor. I immediately respawn in the Apple field outside of town, didn’t even loot for food or water just ran to the police station where I had to leave a fully loaded .380 pistol from lack of room. Sure enough the guy is around the corner still looting my body. I play the “I’m just starting out man, need food and water” angle. At first he’s ready to shoot but finally tells me he’s a “friendly” and just waiting for his buddy to find his way back who got ambushed by some “ahole” he had to take care of.... I gunned him down.... Morale of the story, trust no one, even when they act friendly through proxy chat.

Make another email with gmail or yahoo then start another gamer tag. If you share gold on your console you can have as many tags as emails lol.
-
I play on three different tags. Go into the game hub, quit Day Z, sign out/in to the profile of choice then go back into the game. Never had an issue.
-
Both of the skorpions i've found did the same thing. I'm fine with no full auto, but loading it after every shot, might as well give me a musket since it probably hits harder lol.
-
Dude, I would have lost my mind if a LFG guy shot me up after rolling as a squad for that long... I didn't consider even looking for a random partner but I certainly won't now lol.
-
I was friendly for the first maybe 6 hours that I played. I helped people, or just waved and went about my business even when they acted a big shady. Then I got mowed down by two guys with AR's without never knowing they were there. From there on out I started playing US servers and it seems everyone on them is out to kill people. I don't even give people a chance anymore, If I see you and you don't just keep moving, one of us is dying lol.

I've come across two of these guns in my travels, basically its an UZI that shoots .380. I can't seem to get this thing to shoot in auto (day z wiki says its auto although I assume its for PC) or even the semi auto that the game says it is. I've pulled the mag from it, reloaded it to max capacity, load it in and it just shoots a single shot. Then my character needs to reload a single round in the chamber before shooting again. Is the gun broken, am I doing something wrong? Its the only gun i've been having issues with so far.
