1 - Had not items dissappear or duplicate for that matter since updating. 2 - All inventory slots now work perfect. 3 - Controller reconnects are smooth and instant. 4 - Server list loads well and fast but the toggle system works backwards for me; So if its set to 'Slots - Ascending' then its the highest populated server at the top and it descends in population towards the bottom of the list...So its set back to front? Also 'Previously Played Servers' & 'Favourites' still dont load or show once selecting those tabs to 'SHOW'. 5 - Game does seem overall a lot smoother with less dosconnects on servers but game can still lose alot of frames and get spikes of server lag and rubber banding from time to time.

In reality; people who are classing KOS'ers as the bandit's are far from the truth. They are not the same and to call a KOS'er a bandit or relate KOS'ing to being a bandit isnt or shouldn't be done. A bandit playstyle is in the game to make some sort of opposition to play against but brings a playstyle of a bandit by communication/action in ways of holding players up and taking gear etc etc For you to have "hero's" as people call them then you need to have the above playstyle of a bandit otherwise the hero is just a helper for players against the elements; sharing food and water or kit etc and it really does dumb down the whole point of being a hero as basically you're just a mule, a lacky, A giver of gear for players to just pass on by and have forgotten you and your generosity in minutes. If the bandit playstyle is played correctly then the hero playstyle can be better implemented/played out by players bringing more immersive gameplay and more random, spontaneous interactions between players. A KOS'er just makes the game bland or at least moves the game in a direction soley focused on PVP as interaction which to me, does make the game bland as I just pointed out. It cuts off different aspects of what can happen and every meet or sighting of a player becomes another battle or easy kill ( as most are, if you see the player first then its easy to stalk and kill, having the jump on people works wonders on DayZ). Everyone knows the game leans towards KOS already as it has done on PC in majority of circumstances but without private servers etc and even a functioning switch to game chat then I feel the game is fighting a losing battle towards less interactions already. My point though, its up to us as players to make the game what we want and to call a bandit a KOS'er will put the wrong mindset/playstyle in the head of wanna be bandits. Myself; I do what I need to do to survive....that means I'm hold you up for food, I'm a do it, I have to shoot you cus you wont surrender? I'm a do it.....You see me figting zombies or players and help me? I'm a help you....I come across new spawns,Believe unless they pester me or wont stop following me then they will live but the way the game is kind of going....2 months down the line all I'll be doing is shooting first to protect myself LOL

You qouted an old post. Ive been doing it now, it was a bug on the list by devs that there was no button but in reality it was just anoher bug.

Put the container on the ground and with the shovel in your hands look at the item to be buried and press RT. You should be prompted to "Bury Item" or something along those lines.

I dont know how much gear you had but its probably wasnt glitched; Your stamina will be at half a bar if you're unable to sprint/jump due to carrying too much gear.

You'll have to post this on every GP title official forum LOL people pop up doing the same for every game...Conan, PUBG, ARK etc the list is endless. People would pay more attention to other pre-release products but still when all is reveales about what you are purchasing here, people overlook it.

Its down to weight. Sprinting and jumping cant be done over a certain amount of weight carried. Putting items into your inventory is down to slots not weight. So you will still be able to pick up items once past the threshold for sprinting and jumping; its not bugged. Try re-arranging yoir inventory, ditch something unnecessary and maybe put some in containers.

Its not challenging alone, I agree that being kitted with gear etc keeping food in abundance is easy. Water is readily avaialble etc I'm hoping once disease and the elements can effect you more its becomes harder. At least though, you have to consider that if you didnt have to eat or drink as much as you do then people could easily sprint across the map rapidly to high loot spots. I know it doesnt exactly take ages anyway now but with everything combined eventually I hope it will prove for a good mix but I think the sole reason it is so grindy is to put some thought in the players mind that he has to consider it before taking a long journey.

Yeah it is but in reality we should be allowed unlimited stashes but that's probably not going to happen so ya pro***ly right, a mod or dev needs to confirm how many.

I agree that devs and mods should be more active on here towards help with bugs/fixes/workarounds and such but that is what dayZ is about; The devs want us to find it out for ourselves. If you look at PC forums from the starting days of DayZ there are hundreds of threads where players help each other and make guides etc On console we are way too used to getting that user manual lol this is a proper PC port so its designed for players to figure it out alone or with other players.

Delete local save files for DayZ and when playing on 2nd profile make sure 1st account isnt logged in prior to loading up DayZ. Then you should be able to start up fresh on 2nd account.

100% private servers are a possibility bro! I think once they have stabilized the server performance and released more content they will look at it releasing them. If not before full product release then at least upon that they will. Private servers for PVE/RP make DayZ what it is today for alot of people on PC & also regulated PVP servers with admins to moderate it & make sure players stick to rules like NO KOS etc

Ive buried food and a loaded pistol on the east coast incase I die and need it once respawning; the case has been there everytime ive checked and it was last week I buried it. I wouldn't bury too much incase they overwrite each other somehow; im not sure that there isnt a cap on how many stashes you can have. Once more content and items become available I will be making more stash points.

Yes, buried stashes are persistent for around 40 days. 43 or 41 to be exact. Building will be 'fortifying' once it releases. No actual building.

Have to bury the items in containers such as cooking pots or protective containers etc as far as I know. Not 100% on that though.

100% you can wash hands in ponds etc, ive done it. Press RT one time for that option (of course, wih bloody hands). As for rain water in cooking pots; i wssnt sure that you could collect rain water but i know 100% you can fill up cookig pots in ponds or wells etc

Idk exactly how it works just seen PC players talking about it and on PC thats what the character lock is supposedly for. They have a work around but we do not so just be careful when changing servers or if you get DC'ed leave it for a couple mins before rejoining. The only time I've actually been locked off completely was the same time frame of 1 hour and also I had left a server, joined another then got DC'ed so joined back but I got locked out for 1 hour.

Heard its a lock for server hopping but by sounds of it; if you lag out or leave your game for a while then it somehow locks you in.

No, your still talking from your own perspective, not all xbox players. A hell o a lot of players use game chat and especially in games where team work is needed and its forced upon the player to use it or in ways the player has a disadvantage to not be in game chat. On COD it was S&D, a more team based game mode which also stops dead players calling out to active players on enemy locations etc. Again, A way to force players to use interaction in game, as like here, the same context. Here, people can use party chat all they want but once game chat is essily switchable bewteen that and party chat; players can easily flick between and communicate if they wish. Atm, people are trying that and cant so its a good 50% or more of players probably trying to talk to you and can't. Same as ESO, Conan etc, open world mmo's which, in ways, this takes the form of. People will talk in game chat and even use game chat to stalk and kill players. -
Unfortunately. My advice, keep the glitched weapon with you until finding a replacement. Once you find one; swap out all attachments onto the new weapon by using on the ground/in hands and not by putting the glitched weapon back in your inventory just drop it straight from your hands once you find the new one. DO NOT DROP THE GLITCHED WEAPON NEAR THE REPLACEMENT!!! Causes it to glitch too. Suppose you can drop the attachments but most times I have no space for them so just carry on my back left attached to the 2nd 2 handed weapon.
