My backpack gets ditched alot of the time in combat if safe to do so. 9 - Shit, So I've got to start all over again? Haha 10 - i use this one; the shit has hit the fan. 11 - alot of the time after work in the early AM 12 - tricky one. Planning on playing around with loadouts when i can store more safely. 13 - fuck the police 14 - Mainly playing high pop now. Much better but its sketchy as hell lol 15 - See number 10. 16 - Yeah, thats a good one too. I havent stashed much as of yet really. 17 - tell them again. And trade with him for that scope man.

Its tricky at the moment, I'll agree. With most things I'm wanting to try now, not yet in the game. When solo, I'm mostly just looking for the PU scope right now, Planning on changing to a mosin once I've found the scope. Apart from that, Checking out new areas and potential camp sites. Trying to play in game chat as much as possible too or join LFGs on xbox and help out them out. When a bit more content comes out I think I'll settle in a part of the map, stick to one server and see what happens from there. Just got to keep surviving and have some fun along the way

Can't wait to get a decent kill by popping someone by aiming at them using the light off their torch or muzzle flash at night. It will be a decent dynamic when introduced.

And actually finding out the other players intentions through VOIP or just observation is a good part of the game. I re-read your post and it seems you just want a way to pre-determine if someone is hostile and looking to KOS; Its just basically nerfing the game and making it more arcade/softcore and plus it basically just makes you 'pick a class' instead of having that freedom to play how you want on the fly.

On that, if you want to RP and use certain clothing for certain roles or whatever then join a group or clan etc that does RP or milsim etc Private servers will aid yous doing that eventually once they come out but any thing that restricts the player choices is a bad suggestion.

I lost everything when the reconneting controller thing was still an issue.. Dont buy into GP's if youre literally going to leave the game over shit like that. Thats good advice too.

I don't want any restrictions or said areas for certain things. I like DayZ because of the freedom to play and do as you wish, like so many other players. Cutting/restricting or even saying this area is for 'whatever' again cuts down player choices and freedoms, just like the post you made about 'wearing certain bits of kit for certain playstyles'. Its not for me.

You cant start saying you can only wear this or that if you are going to play like said style. Takes way too much freedom away from the player and closes up minimum choices of what we have to wear already lol

The door you locked would only lock on the server you locked it on. I'm relatively sure that's how its meant to work. Btw; even if you did spawn elsewhere...what happened to the lockpick you used in the first place? Careful with your stashes but seems you can arm a small army lol Nice loadout. Agree, Sprint is vital so need to keep light. Cant wait for more persistence etc so can make more stable stashes. I can lighten up more and travel more equipped to the occasion. Mags dont seem to damage from mis-keeping of them at the moment, reason mine are in pots lol they fit 3 perfect and the 2 pots fit perfectly in my clothing together. My M4A1 goea in my pack too so only my AK on show but my guy look looted, cant help it. I just have to make sure I dont get seen.

Problem there could be the fact they are in the party together; meaning they cant reply. Not saying they wouldnt of tried to kill you but its just going to be so much better once you can switch between. Nice kills!

Looking for a PU scope myself then more than likely change out 1 AR and take the mosin. I've not made the improvised backpack yet, isnt it white though? Handy for sure and if it can carry all you need; happy days. Pretty cool playstyle, You will enjoy the game more and more as content drops for crafting etc as you seem to be a lone wolf survivor living off the land. Myself Ive only seen 1 herd of cows, 1 goat and sheep once so I havent really come across enough to keep going. Kind of; if you put one of your 'quick slotted' items in a container once after equipping it and then changing to something else it wont be in the container. Just makes my life easier knowing what's what in my inventory and when it comes to ditcing my backpack in firefights; its only bacon and shit thats dropped down. Dont lose my valuables and can still do what I need to do if I have to retreat etc. Literally everytime anyones died due to gunfire this game; pretty much everything is ruined, No matter what or where its stored. Nah, swerve that. Got my turtlebeachh on so I aint arsing about putting other headphones on under my turtlebeach and listening to my phone on speaker isnt going to happen wih turtle beach on. Potentially the 2 way adapter thing ia decent but why bother just for an issue that should be fixe over time.

I know devs/players know of the blocked scope bug but its not every weapon that it does it with so heres some more detail on it and hopefully we can all get this sorted. When going prone with the Alice Bergen or other large packs equipped it can block your scope with certain weapons. Not sure why just certain weapons/scopes but its happening. Blocked Sight Picture: AK with PSO-1 / SVD with PSO-1 / USG with ACOG Open Sight Picture: M4A1 with ACOG / Mosin Nagant with PSU / USG with M68 Please comment what weapons with what scope you have attached to it and if you have a blocked sight picture

Where does the audio for party chat come through? Out of your phone or headset?

Thats the problem at the moment. Like I said; The mod mentioned that its hard for the devs to know exactly when. I would say just keep an eye out here and on the main site, including the development blog.

Yeah, pretty sure thats what they do on PC. Pick it up all, think you need two people though to be able to pack up all the gear and tent so you got to use a buddy-buddy system on it. Not 100% though but think thats how it works, for now. Edit - obviously we aint got tents etc so yeah, just pick up your stash when an update is due.

Updates clear persistence. A mod or dev said somewhere to someone that they will be able to give us a notice that it will happen in the future once they get better server performance and also they dont know when updates will go live at the moment so just dont bury any thing too valuable really. Was it checked after the update?

Do you know at what rates the xbox build meters drop compared to any of the pc builds?

Yeah, that would be sweet. My pal has an MP5 but no scope so if we can get a hold of one happy days. I'm on the search for an SVD, got to find those heli sites lol had 1 at one point but no mags and I ditched it as I had my M4 & AK. Ain't many other weapons to try really. Looking forward to a little bit of new content tbh; Hopefully the first big update they do will have some goodies as the recent updates soley focused on performance etc which I'm not complaining about though, just itching for some new goodies.
