    Which ones was it the canisters yea? what color? I did try both types of smoke grenades and most colors black on the rdg2 and the red, yellow, purple and green on the m18 types, all stopped after about 2 mins.

    All work fine for me, smokes for a few mins maybe 3min max. Ideally they should smoke up to 5mins though.

    Yes well Devs kinda locked themselves in with the immune thing, but who knows they way the game has changed its still possible,.. I remember when zeds used to attack you like you were being infected, They might just go with the immune thing to solve many extra animations and mechanics that would be needed, but it wouldnt take very much and those animation and mocap was way before the enfusion engine was built so maybe its possible. Exactly what I told them,.. Its a goddamn woodpecker!,.. some music artist claiming rights to it thinking I used their music in my videos... I wonder if thats something to do with all the item name changes in game?.. Who copyrights that though?,.. and really is it such a big deal?

    Haa yea IKR when you have over 3k hrs on the PC since 2014 and when console users be like "cant take this shit I bought a console just to play this!" dribble they rant,... PC is/should/always will be the first and upmost priority for new feature/implementations etc... I remember back in the early access was a time where just spamming r key spat out tonnes on pristine ammo... oh the firefights back then..... 😏 Not many players where throwing hissy fits about that too much now were they... My mind is still blown as to why they did this, since .63 this has been the case, I used to get copyright infringements for the wood pecker sound DayZ used to have in it on my youtube, fought and won each and every appeal I made of them too.

    A valid point but it would be logical to still be able to get infected or just sick perhaps, but getting turned into a zombie kind of completes the circle of it all, instead of going "I am legend" stylez which seems a cure is in fact being pointed at as a full circle, Im sure we would rather be turned or head shotted as oppose to finding a cure which would set DayZ apart from most other games I think. Or it is too hard for the Devs to implement this type of cycle maybe, as with ragdoll physics?

    To me this is DayZ. Its a very very broad spectrum of players and play styles from one extreme to the other and round again, Ive met friendlies and hostiles, been friendly and hostile, and both in between, defended players from attackers, given medical assistance to players and fed them back to good health gave them a kit to survive and sent them on their way, Ive also held up guys stripped them put dresses on them fed them disinfectant and made them cripple, (when you could be shot in the leg and it broke making you crawl and not die) and when signs of it going nowhere then placing a burlap over their head (if they were lucky) and executing them in rows making their buddies watch before their demise also. Ive sat on top of high buildings doing sniping practice at all who entered my sights. This is what can be done in DayZ just on the player vs player decision aspect, Ive built bases had them raided murkd the invaders and ate their flesh in front of the ones who were captured to instill fear of returning to our base before meeting their end, and been on the opposite side of that as well of course, In either end of the spectrum I have been on both sides and experienced it, if you feel like your a rager (not boner) and cant deal with being intimidated and manipulated then just run, odds are you will meet the you are dead screen and not the your unconscious screen, if you have the stomach for such extremes then flow with it w/e its expected in this game as in reality make the most of it, chances are you may make friends or just more enemies either way make sure you have some time to immerse yourself well in the game as thats the only way to feel the full experience it has to offer, Im satisfied at the games diversity its meant to give you smiles then tears or vice versa in either sequence, next time you have knowledge of what could happen when you encounter players.

    I actually got sick from drinking from a well of all things.. is this indeed a bug or any and all water sources could be contaminated and such now need decontamination tablets to be safe? you can get sick quite easy actually, drinking from creeks etc.. zed infection I remember will be a thing which is why there is the syringe and medical vial (treatment of condition) once infected, one would display zombie looking features (turning), vomiting blood etc.. and if left untreated player will ultimately die leaving their body to become one of the infected zombies (as it would in a zombie outbreak). Really really want to see players able to be carrying and dragging players bodies or infected bodies and body decay features and zombie infection to players and ultimately turning them..... into another zombie leaving player to re-spawn as if they died and players body becoming a zombie.... @Tom_48_97 Interesting to see the file worlds_test_ce.pbo looking to manage CE via .pbo file and not in the missions folder, seems sensible idea now with verify sigs working, makes things more secure one can establish. Side note with all the activating of functions being enabled will this now make Battleye BEC work properly as its intended to?, eg.. bad names, bad words, whitelisting, admin lists etc,..? Im a strong supporter of BEC and being an extension of BI nominated anti-cheat program Battleye, Id love to see this fully working again in all its glory, Regards.

    Its because on the exp client version there is worlds_test_ce.pbo and worlds_test_ce.pbo.dayz.bisign in the addons, In the server files these files are not there, add them to you servers addons or remove them from you client version and you can then join without disabling signatures.

    Are you starting the server using a .bat file with commands? Have you had the server running before? Need more info on your process for starting the server.

    You make good points all of which are valid and understandable. If the enfusion engine is a prerequisite model for the Arma4 series Im assuming any added functions made to the engine to make it a viable part for the game will be made, no matter the cost as Arma4 will make it back plus more in sales according to the path of Arma3. I also want to make a tickets for bugs but every time I do its either already been made by somebody else (which is great), or my crash logs arnt there or I cant find the method of replication. Im not overly worried if there will be a roadmap or not, Im more worried about the release/return of regressed items in the game, Having those back in will make DayZ show its advancement is in motion and moving forward at noticeable pace. This is the good thing about creative criticism right here.

    None of those options I can decide on, I havnt had very much FPS drop since the enfusion engine was properly implemented to the game, I know with the old engine I would get freeze spikes and lags and desync and would smash my frames to 0-1fps for a few seconds (usually life threatening times at that), I rarely get freezes, stutters and lags now and performance is much better also (PC version), The dev team is doing well its just the amount of content is slow, given it being a small team thats not too bad at all, And patients is a virtue, that I can understand too, though its just been a long time just to get it to here and now,.... As you say there is no option to go back to the old DayZ a much needed progression definitely, I think its just the content that needs to be checked, then checked again and pushed out for us to find the bugs (if any) whilst we play quietly lol... Im sure if enfusion needs any updating/upgrading to add features it needs I doubt it would be too hard to code it into it.

    Number one thing people dont do on the internet is think before they speak/type,... all niceness aside, fuck your judgement, if your smart enough then you wouldnt of commented. Micro transactions will be the death of this game (at least to the original players, the survivalists, the veterans) Freedom of speech is what a forum kinda is for, so if there are people complaining, maybe its a sign of a real issue at hand,.. creative potential? precious time? Are you fucking joking? Thats what the devs are paid to do is use their potential and spend their precious time on this game. Im not amused at pocket pissers trying to create something thats utterly useless to the community when they dribble excrement as this.., We know the work the devs have done I see it in the files and in the gameplay and we aint knocking them back for their hard work, DayZ is only one of two games I play, 2! I have dedicated my precious time through Alpha from 0.49/0.50 to now, and its not just to keep myself amused but I actually trial and test features as well, So as you can tell Im a tiny bit annoyed, but honestly Im this way all the time, very blunt, you have made no change. Creative criticism is not intended to stimulate hate or anger, if you cant tell the context then dont comment to it, your not doing yourself any favors doing so, But again its the internet people do and say dumb shit all the time without mindfulness, either way I support the devs and their work and we as a community let them know how us the actual players rate the game (not their work) all so they may see that the majority of their players have shed light on a key issue with the devs' interests in mind, And if you didnt know, there is no relocation of coding time as they have a relay to deal with the forums, eg... DayZ Forum Team, so again Im not sure you know what your on about but I can certainly show you where you stand in regards to your comments, without resorting to a totally troll like behavior. I anticipate the games new content (well redone old content) and continue to enjoy the game with future new content being added, I really want volt back and of course throwing and I think I read something about scaling/climbing? return of all the weapons, survival aspects, tweaked realistic physics to ballistics and inertia its all in their waiting to blow our minds,.. shooting from vehicles, little bird helicopters, dead bodies not de-spawning but slowly decaying before returning to the ground leaving their gear, This is what we all are waiting for, whether it was promised or not this is some of what the players want to see in the game, all of this is without mentioning the modding aspect yet. Im sure BI has enough funding to make this game progress a bit faster, it not like they are working on ten or twenty or more titles, they can manage it definitely without low balling for micro transactions. Drops mic.....💥

    Im sure the wolves are a dynamic event, so editing that wouldnt do much apart from how many wolves get spawned per event id assume, if you want more wolf spawns ther should be something in the events.xml to signify how many spawns min.. max.. etc.., territories are only their spawn locations I think, hope that helps.
  18. How about character models?, eg removing calico shirt and shorts to actual skin/genitals chest hair/back hair etc..? will this be available to do?. A question that I know many would like to know the answer to. For DayZ only of course.

    I dont believe in micro-transactions in games honestly, especially in games like this, BI will loose most of their already dwindling playerbase if that happens with DayZ trust me in that, people who do stay and pay are fucking idiots, excuse the colorful language, If however it was a game like Star Citizen well thats a completely different ball game they literally have a Universe littered with worlds and other stuff that puts DayZ to shame with its claim of having a "massive" map, In SC you can actually buy a friking massive ship with real money,.. Now thats "worth it" and for an absolutely gargantuan ship (frigate/destroyer class) your looking at a cool $1200USD for their best which is also "worth it". Paying trump change for a game you have already paid for and want/need features that should of already been in game is a bloody ripoff and a clear sign they are now targeting children under 18 years of age (or like minded) to empty their pockets (or parents') to get these "features" in game to play with. People such as I wouldnt be "complaining" if the fucking game had all its features as it mostly did before they announced "oh we are building a new engine for the game" "It will be better and we will be able to add new things quicker" If they ever return the content that was already in the game and start actually adding "new" content like helis, shooting from vehicles, proper weather (seasons) and proper basebuilding etc then the engine 's claims will be true, but as of right now the game's Regressed state has stirred up a snakes nest.

    The co-ords are 638.14 0 11113.78 sort of looks like a race track but there looks to be definitely road plans for a large town honestly, I guess we will soon find out. Well seeing as PC version will always get new content first I assume it will eventually get pushed down and ported for consoles. There is maybe a 1/4 of the weapons working atm in DayZ, many still do not work yet including bows, We are expecting all that to come in the next content release, Hopefully making 1/2 of all the DayZ items and functions working including 3/4 of weapons.

    My servers have updated to the latest exp/stable version 1.03.151658, Meaning currently if all exp and stable branch servers are updated stable and exp branch clients can join any one of these branches without switching. So isnt this patch now redundant? And so will there a new exp patch version post update being 1.03.151658? Or is it being left at stable? Content needs to be pushed out the sooner the better. Btw has anyone noticed the ongoing revamp to the west of sinistok? Looks like there will be another town or possibly a city added in that area by the looks, so far there are roads, sealed and dirt, streetlamps, what appears to be a soccer field, a bunch or precariously placed wooden bridges and one ski lift, Would like to know of any developments in that area, looks interesting.

    Watchtowers - Unnecessary hole in the roof

    I too have concern with this, Base building should be modular with a vast variety of options for building anything, I built a 7x9 watchtower complex and I can tell you falling through that empty stair hole can kill, not to mention we cannot even build anything on that backside where the stair well is, Please make some good changes to reflect living and survival aspect to the game, Also is it just me or do zombies, animals etc just waltz on through any of these structures?, Lots of work to be done Devs, PS4 and Xbox should be put on hold so to attend to more serious priorities like the game itself, Porting and console compatibility can wait till the original PC version is SOLID first, then tweak w/e to make it work on them consoles.

    Nespesney just quit DayZ...

    Always a sad day for us DayZ gamers when someone in the upper ranks of the dev team leaves, I hope this game doesnt get abandoned I really dont, I wish the people who have left get to see this game in a completed state, Having spine tingling thoughts of DayZ wash my mind like a wet newspaper being sucked into a storm drain on the side of the road in a thunderstorm sickens me... I really love this game and a thank you, a big thank you to all those who have put in work over the years developing it, I wish Peter all the best in his future endeavors (Im sure we all do here). Perhaps some crosses for all that have gone be appointed to the top of the hill between lopatino and vybor overlooking lopatino fields in the foreground with the Big Red Barn in the background in remembrance? I know Id visit them.. Though the work must continue as the wheels of progress slow for no one, The zeds are hungry.
