Make sure you bring at least one heatpack during the day, two at night. I prefer the M24 myself, but L85 and any sniper is probably your best combo.

Do you have the latest beta patch? That bug should be fixed if you're up to date. Just make sure to drop your pack on a flat surface before putting a new skin on, as it will dupe an empty one on your back and wipe your old pack.

The point is to smoke out the hackers now so Rocket and team can fight it in the standalone release. Please Google: alpha.

I have the same issue, I just quickly ALT+TAB and quickly close the program.

You must be one lucky guy. I have been searching for more rifles for days and almost never find them, they are definitely more rare than assault rifles. And if I find one more M104 shottie at NWA I'm going to freak out XD

I do this a lot too. Large hills at the VERY edge of the map is popular, but usually they are somewhere in the tree-line closest to the edge. A great spot to check is the very NE corner of the map, and north of Olsha. A lot of people hide stuff there. Obviously, the higher populated servers have more camps, but also more hackers and ALT-F4 kids.

If the worst were to happen, I would do my best to protect his gear and/or avenge his death.

Same thing happened to us. I know it wasn't some joker running over our tents because they weren't flattened. Just... gone.

If you aborted quickly enough your character should be fine. Just play on a different server.

The icon will start to turn bluish grey. When you become cold enough to get an infection the icon will start flashing just like hunger or food.

Please don't encourage the hackers...

Just so you're aware, the same thing happened to me when we stole TKG's vehicles. As soon as a TKG member (it was Terraknight) saw me, the server went down for at least 4 - 5 hours. When I logged back in about an hour after the server came back up every car was moved, including the one I was driving. I can't prove any of this, but I won't play on UK34 anymore, that's for damn sure. Not sure if Leavaris is responsible, as I managed to kill him before all of this went down and nothing odd happened.

I've had this issue before this patch. Logged out of Steam, tried again and it was fine. Worth a shot.

Choosing your spawn is the plan. Please read Rocket's posts before bitching like a spoiled 8 year old. It's his mod, and he wants to test this stuff before charging $30-$60 for a full retail game.

This is quite common, but should have been fixed by the new patch. I think if you log out and back in you should be okay? Not sure on that.
