I have come across alot of empty tin cans and empty soda cans. What are they used for? I heard you can throw them to distract the infected, but I cannot figure out how to do this? Anyone shed some light on the situation?

Got this game just for the mod as well. Watched countless youtube videos that made the game really seem awesome. First day I buy it and play it I don't start out with a weapon, and I have to crawl around at 1/10 a mile per hour across a map big enough to harbor big mama's ass and all I have accomplished is dying 8 times and killing 2 zombies with a pistol I found that had 7 rounds. This game is insanely hard, there has to be a gap. I know the game is meant to be hardcore and give you that experience, but honestly right now it's not really that fun. Give us back starter weapons please.

Hey guys! I really hope I am posting this in the right section. I had a few problems with the game with FPS issues and after messing with the in game settings for a while I got the game stable at 50+ FPS with everything on very high at 1080p. For those of you who are running a high resolution, and have a decent system but you are not getting good FPS, =DISABLE ANTI ALIASING= Running everything on very high 50+ fps on crossfire 6970s and 2500k at 4.5ghz. AA is very hard on your system especially when there is alot of foliage, (trees, grass ect.) Anyways I hope this helps! Having a faster FPS and a more beautiful game increases the immersion :)

Hi! As I am typing this I am downloading my purchase of Arma II, Arma OA, and Private Military for the increase high res player models. I love to play co-op with others. I am an adult, 24 years of age that loves games and loves to play long hours with others for fun. I have a very nice headset with a mic, and own my own mumble server, but can use ventrilo or any other VoIP if prefered. Looking for 1-3 (or more) of organized friends with headsets and mics to survive and play Day z. I have not even yet booted into the game, so I have to install and learn how to play but I am confident I will learn quickly and be a key asset to your co-op fun experience :D
