Why would someone do that? Some people in this thread have been threatening it. What you just said is was kind of my point.

FFS Just leave then. No one cares. Stop making yourself look like a cry baby and leave with some dignity if you feel that strongly about it. What they did is completely within their rights as SOLE owners of the Intellectual Property and is also within their agreement with their hosts WHO THEY PICK. If you dont like it then too bad. Get over it, and either leave and pull down your awful servers or stay and stfu. Also I guarantee not a single one of you is going to pay a lawyer to even try to file an international lawsuit against Rocket & co over some measly server fees. ONE HOUR of an international lawyers time is probably worth more than you have paid the entire time your server has been up. Not to mention no lawyer who is 1/2 way competent would even consider taking on your case. Once again if you feel that strongly about it then man up and do it and stop creating a drama fest on the forums which will get you no where. Thanks

Me and 2 of my friends jumped over Razor Wire that was blocking the castle entrance without even taking damage earlier tonight. I also did it yesterday in the 1.7.1.4.

Its not so much that the Zombies can find you, its that you CAN'T stealth now. Which was 1/2 the fun of the game to some people. Sneaking around is literally impossible now even when crawling. To give you an example I was perfectly still behind a building PRONE and after about 10min (I was using Binoculars) a zombie starts running straight for me from 150+ Feet away and proceeds to break my legs before I can even stand up to run away. I don't mind them being hard, or even detecting you from a greater distance when you are being stupid. But there is no way they should have been able to find me under those circumstances.

The Zombie aggro is just too crazy right now. Other than that everything is fine (minus obvious bugs but thats to be expected). Aggroing 10 zombies from out of no where while crawling on the ground in the bushes is just insanely frustrating even with a weapon. Not to mention most of the spawn points spawn you in an area where there is a zombie ~150feet away that immediately runs at you now.

I was on the same server we all died at the same time. Like 50+ people instantly died. So I'm assuming it was a hack. I don't know who did it or how to find out who did it though, so hopefully someone on the server knew how.

Alpha is Alpha. Also the nature of the game is sometimes losing your stuff... even if it was due to a bug/lag/whatever it was bound to happen eventually anyways.

That doesnt change the fact that the way you treated the guy complaining about it was incredibly childish. Even if he was whining why continue to instigate him instead of just letting it go? This is the kind of behavior that leads to these types of games eventually failing because new players don't want to be part of such a hostile community.

Apparently you missed the entire point of what I said. I'm not going to get into an argument over it like the last guy, but Sixupdater didn't work at all (for me) for the latest patch. I ended up having to completely reinstall manually and use launch commands. Justsayin.

You guys are pathetic. Are you seriously bitching at this guy for suggesting that there be one official way to install the mod? Grow up. The game isn't perfect as is and the installation certainly COULD use some streamlining. It's Alpha but due to its popularity at the very least a simple installer could be made to make it more accessible. If it doesnt happen fine, but there is no reason to bitch at this guy for suggesting it. Especially the 44 year old guy. You would think he would be a little less of a douche in his old age.
