    The server restarts

Wife and I were out looting, and I found a bag for her. She empties out the bag (mountain backpack) and puts them into the new bag (tactical backpack) while at the military base in Zelengorsk. We never seen the restart message, and got the red text indicating the server was down. When we log back in, she has two mountain backpacks, and all the gear was gone to include the tactical pack. So it duplicated the mountain pack, and deleted the tac pack with all the stuff in it. What an absolute feeling of WTF. Hours of time wasted... Not sure why people can still run around when the server is down, but it screwed us over terribly. Makes you want to say screw it. Been playing and waiting since early alpha, and with teleporting zombies all the time, it's like early alpha all over again. The crawling zombies are the absolute worst, as it seems you have to hit them in a box the size of a matchbox to register a hit.. FML

    Funny but sad story.

So there I was, fresh in beta, making my way through the south coast westward. The rain was coming down like cats and dogs, and darting in and out of buildings where available was the norm. As I took a long run through the rain, my temp going down, I spot a barn! Almost there, and the rain stops, but that barn is looking good to warm up. When I enter, there is a guy kneeling down with fire materials scattered about, weapon shouldered, startled to see me enter. I can tell he is shaken by me, and that is understandable, as I would also be in that situation. I had my shotgun in hand, as you can't trust folks these days. I engage in speak with him, and he asked me for help, he wanted some matches if I had any. Well, I am indeed a nice guy, and don't go about murdering people for any reason. However, as you should be, I was very cautious. I don't want the man to pull out a pistol on my while sifting through my back for matches, or lighting a fire for him. So, I quickly access my matches and drop them on the ground for him. See, I am a nice guy! Not sure if it was his nerves or what, but he was acting a bit strange, not answering me here and there, as if occupied by something else. In my mind, this could be him trying to communicate with a friend behind my back. Now I am starting to get a tad paranoid. Big open door to my back, a perfect avenue for a friend to whack me. I remain as calm as possible, waiting for him to take the matches and light his fire. He however does not do so, but instead lays down and turns towards the corner, not answering me. He then blurts out something quick and nervously. Now at that same time, I turn to look at the door, and cracks in the barn that allow me to see if any movement is afoot. This is where the funny comes in. Little did I know, the act of just turning produces what sounds like footsteps. Now couple that with the odd communications with this guy, and what instantly pops in to your head? Mind you, he lays down, perfect for not getting hit by fire from a friend from the door... Well I put a slug in him without any warning. I then called out, after positioning myself inside for a possible attack, that I knew they were out there, and I could wait all day. Essentially, come and get some guy! Well, I waited there nice and still, and heard no footsteps outside, and no communication at all either. I sat there for a good 10 minutes, just amped up and waiting. Nothing.. I then turn left to right and hear that sound again! I stop, and nothing is heard. I turn again, and wouldn't you know, there that footstep sound is again. It then of course clicks in my mind.... OMG, I friggin just murdered this dude. I felt horrible, and tried to convince myself that perhaps he was still trying to get the drop on me, and the pal took off. But the more likely story is, I just didn't know about those sounds, and ended this poor guy's life.. Note to devs... Perhaps make the turning sound sound more like shoes/boots pivoting, rather than sounding like actual walking.. If you are reading this my poor fellow, I do apologize for murdering you in such a way.

    Rotate items inventory

Is there any move to allow item rotation when placing items in slots? I have many times been forced to dump something from inventory not for size or weight alone, but rather how it fits in the slots.

    Decrease Item Damage

I have also had this issue, and it is hard with the teleportation zombies. One hit takes my worn jacket to badly damaged for instance. And I also found that the sewing kit is bugged. You can take something from damaged to worn and it uses part of the kit. The next time, on the same coat, it uses the whole kit up. I would also say the amount of firearms and firearm equipment, to include magazines I find seems much lower in vanilla than I am used to. And most are badly damaged. This could be my luck of course, but not sure.

    Stamina Issues

Suggestion for stamina. The system is out of whack given items carried and amount of stamina/movement drained from the player. I had an M4, full military clothing to include tactical backpack. Only half full slots, only a few mags, handful of apples and pears, maybe 7, radio, tape, an extra pouch, a couple sodas and a few bottles of water, and 4 loose boxes of ammo. You would think I was humping a ruck with 600 rounds of ammo, and a spare MG barrel while carrying a heavy MG. I am unable to even get over short fences, forcing me to walk around as if in a maze, unable to avoid pockets of zombies that still seem to glitch around, as in they are in one place, then sprout from the ground next to me. I very much like the idea of stamina, and how it slows you down the more you load up, however, the inability to clear minor obstacles like a short knee fence is not much fun, especially when I see zombies climbing over high fences to murder me. Also, I have found the hunger and thirst drain far too fast when you have this much weight, which mind you again, is not that much. I, with the kit I have listed above, had to eat two pumpkins, 2 pears, and apple, a can of sardines, and a tomato, while only traveling roughly 2,000 meters. This would have been so filling in real life, it would make you puke. This coming from a guy who not only helps teach survival where full rucks and weapons are the norm, but also a fire fighter that is humping around a great deal of weight on a scene for hours on end. I just think it needs tweaked a bit to more reasonably reflect reality. I also don't like the fact one your bar is down to 25%, you can't sprint, even if only for 10 feet or so. This greatly reduces your ability to get to cover when engaged. Even with full ruck/kit, one would be able to accomplish a short distance fast movement action. You guys are top notch in my opinion, because you strive for that reality. Just need some tweaking done.

    Spawn Points

When will all the spawn points be utilized? Spawning in a few spots every time on the east/southeast coast is rough to say the least. Is there anything in the works to get those spawn points all over the map active?
