I think the new spawns are terrible. At least for now. I read there was a new patch and didn't know what it meant by "balancing of player spawns". So I spent hours trying to spawn with my friend because I'm not experienced enough at this game to know where I spawn unless it: A. Says so at the bottom right of my corner like the mod version B. Gives me a compass/map/GPS to start with I wasted so much time killing myself to actually be able to do anything. I'd agree with them if there was more interesting content or at least vehicles but at the moment I don't want to waste time to have a CHANCE at playing with my friend.

Made a video last night of me playing on Namalsk, had no idea what to expect seeing as I'm new to the map. I ended up getting pretty lucky and found loads of weapons, XZIBIT in a tunnel ( took me by surprise LOL ), and heard bear noises ( researched them after, bloodsuckers.. I was lucky.. ). It's been a while since I've played Day Z so I thought I'd give a new map a try. Me and my friend just recently started this channel, usually he joins me in whatever I play. Is it possible for voicecom to just be turned off on some servers? Not only that really but when I type in direct com, vehicle com, or group my friends don't see that either. Vice/versa Someone just came up and said hi to me and I couldn't respond... Grr I don't understand what the issue is Bump, accidentally kept replying to myself..

I have, but I think I'm gonna try it with this new patch beforehand. Cause I see some new channels are here now so maybe it fixed, not sure

Ever since 1.7.1 I've noticed voice com just isn't working for me. I've tested it with friends on multiple servers with different beta patches and still can't seem to get it working. Anyone have a possible solution for this or is anyone experiencing the same issue? EDIT: And my friends can't see my written chat in any of the channels aswell
