no, just no I do agree on the other hand that the zombies in dayZ are glitchy and zig-zaggy, but those zombies (^^^^) are too cliche..hands froward walking slow. its too cliche. I like the hall-ass sprint towards you like 28 Days later type deal.

Obviously not a Military bone in anyone's body in this thread. Yes the DMR has a higher round count, semi-automatic and has a 2 x zoom with the scope. There is no Zeroing with the DMR rifle, all guestimate if you have a range-finder or a noob server. AND after 400-500 meters the damage effects reduces, because the bullet slows down and you have to fire server times at a guessed range. The M24 has a 5 round count and being bolt action. It has a 1x zoom scope but zooms further than the DMR. IT does have a zeroing for far targets. I think (correct me if I am wrong) up to 1,000m-1200m? Meaning if you have a range finder and your target is 1,000m away all you have to do is (PAGE UP) to zeroing meter till you are on 1,000. Put cross hair dead center on target, badah-bing-badah-boom. I like both weapons but 1 shot is better than several at a far target, and or moving. I would pick the M24 over the DMR. DOC out

do you know how hard it is to use NVGs with a rifled scope..and even with iron sites... lol "Afghanistan Veteran" I find this annoying too buddy, but for some reason the DMR is the only "SniperRifle" you can use with the NVGs.

To the Gentleman who had the tractor and car with the two tents by the lake. I am sorry... I was meeting some of my friends at the NW Airfields when I came across your little tent area. I investigated your tents and liked what I saw...I became looting everything that you own. Your 249, your 2 M107 Barrett 50 cals, 2 Silent Bizons, your NVGs, M16, 2 DMRs, ghillie suit.. and a few more nic-naks. and all the ammo for the supporting weapons above. -I then placed all those ammo's and guns in your yellow 4 door hatchback vehicle and drove away. I met my friends and one of them decided to drive. -We then drove to a disclosed area where the vehicle got stuck and then blew up. I died but my friends lived...because i ran all the way to where they were injured and saved them. -So all your supplies just went up in flames. You probably worked very hard at getting it all...but again I am sorry. I am just kidding i dont feel bad what so ever about what happened. Pretty funny. but i did rob you and all your supplies is gone

The longest i went was 21 days. But i died i got careless and got myself killed... right now im going on 11 days..getting lucky cause been alot of action where i am. but On average with people who know how to play the game. 8-14 days if your a good player

I know where that is... I dont have a grid location gentlemen. Its north, past Pobeda Dam a few hundred meters, then to the right couple hundred meters.

well, i agree that people should stop getting upset. IT IS A GAME, and if you die..oh well. start over. or live off the land somewhere, where players dont usually go. Most of the time my buddies and i play we usually go hunting people for sport.. sometimes looting them, or just leaving their body there and giggle about it. PLUS its fun DOC OUT

yeah go ahead bro and wear the ghillie suit. 1. Other players will look at you as more of a threat. 2. Does nothing against zombies 3. Does help hide self from other players if you know how to use it properly. 4. WHEN you DIE theres a 50/50 chance that you will spawn in the middle of the ocean. Unless this big has been fixed But i shoot anyone who wears any clothes other than your spawn clothes

I'm not going to bother really reading the posts. All I have to say is that the game runs smooth as a babys bottom. I died after 2 weeks of living off the land and as soon as I spawned I went through Solnichy (however you spell it) and I did get chased by zombies but after cutting a corner or going into a building and exiting through the other end i lost em. even found a makarov and en field... soo..maybe DayZ is weeding out the rookies from the pro's.

"Attention; certain details and names are being kept from the public" I spawn into the last server I had on my server list, and there it is..the Mother-load of all looters dream, make a leopard purr type of loot . When I spawned in there was 5 vehicles and a crap load of tents, what seemed like they were duped. I cautiously scanned the perimeter to make sure it was clear. It was. I then moved into the barracked small fortress like some Metal Gear Solid/Splinter Cell agent..."really cause all I had was a silenced M9". I began my loot and moving the goodies. On my second or third trip back, as I was going through their tents full of ammo.. a person spawned in..running up to the tent I was at and just looked at me. My blood began pumping and was trying to figure out why the hell he didnt shoot me? Then he faced the tent I was rumbling through and it clicked! He thought I was one of the clan members... Silly boy I thought as I slowly raised my Silenced M9, then shot him in the head. He got on the "Direct Com" channel and said, " DUDE ITS ME WTH?" I giggled.. and continued my rummage, taking as much ammo as I could possibly hold. When I noticed another clan member was connecting I quickly ran into a bush and took cover.. scanning the ridge. Then... I saw him.. he was in a ghillie suit laying down scanning the tent area. I was in a bush behind some tents and quickly tried to think my way out of this. I equipped the M4 I snagged from them and loaded it.. I then slowly strafed right until he was in plain few of my iron-sights. PANG PANG PANG- he was dead. When my friend joined in, I gave him the skivvy on what was going on and came up with a plan.. he was going to watch my back as I continued my loot. When we got back to the spot I began my thing, when someone was at the tents, but he didnt see my because I was lying down behind the tents...I told my buddy and like some Secret Sniper, PANG..."tango down" as I watched the guy collapse beside me. Continuing my loot my buddy told me he heard some foot-steps by him...he quickly turned around and dropped the guy sneaking around him. After that, I told him to bug out because I wanted to be a dic*.. I went to their weapons tent and grabbed their M249 SAW with 3 boxes. Layed down and began destroying their trucks they had. "Ultimate sabotage/loot yes I know" I destroyed 3/5 vehicles, but the 2 that were left I shot the tires out and basically were useless. Out of the whole looting, I grabbed close to 60 mags of 5.56, 20 5.56SD, 8 NVGS, couple rifles.. range finders, GPS's...amazing I know.. Best Story I've had in awhile
