The problem is that Chernerus is so big and vehicles are so rare that if you had to stop running to catch your breath every 1000 yards, it would take so long to get anywhere. There is a point where you have to sacrifice some realism for gameplay sake.

If you know how to farm loot propperly you don't even need to switch servers (unless loot stops respawning for some reason) -

Boobytrap spelt backwards is 'partyboob' just an FYI XD But in all seriousness, setting tripwires (that at least set off an alarm / lights up the enemy) would be pretty sweet. However because of the nature of the game, an instant death trap (like a mine) would be a little harsh. -

If your 'mate' can see and you can't (both with your gamma up) try relogging. There is a bug sometimes where your light levels are too low, relogging resets it. Also a tip: Up the brightness Up the gamma Disable shadows You will see much better providing there is some moonlight -

Carrying an M4A3 CCO SD and a G17 (flashlight is handy on those dark moonless nights!) Clearing a path is so much easier with a silencer :3

You sir, are in the minority. Anyway stop being so god damned entitled. This is an alpha. If you are purely here for your own gratification and not here to TEST and contribute to the development of this mod into a playable state then just leave and play a completed AAA game or something.

I found a white pickup while in the North (nope not telling you where), so I do beleive they are spawning :3 -
Honestly this game isn't for everyone. I think the fact that this is a brutal game with a steep learning curve and no hand-holding is something that appeals to a lot of the more 'hardcore'/'oldskool' gamers (whatever we call ourselves). This game really isn't there to help you, you have to help yourself. If you haven't got the tactical awareness / common sense to take precautions against other players, I really don't think this game is for you. This game isn't here to make money, so it doesn't need to pander to the sort of player who needs their hands held. They will play, learn to survive or move on.

Cooperation is fine, trying to cooperate with a random stranger is dangerous. We (the group I play with) tend to go out of our way to avoid other survivor contact (stealth is the key) and if that fails shoot anyone who isn't in our teamspeak. It's just safer that way. Assume everyone is hostile, you'll live longer. -

Worrying, this was fixed in the last patch... Although this seems like a different issue to the old empty backpack bug :S -
I'm loving the new knockdown changes. I always hated how a single zombie could take me from full health to nothing just from a lucky knockdown strike.
