I think this mod pretty much apeals to many of people reguardless of their origin. There are a tonne of people all over Europe and the Americas who play, and Russia is a big country. Why wouldn't there be alot of them? -

Odd.. Not seen broken headlights before (and I've crashed a fair few times). Wait for a server reset? That normaly fixes car issues. Also I'm pretty sure its a 'UAZ'

You don't need to do anything, the server admins need to get their asses in gear and fix the broken script (removing one line from a text file) to allow people in again.

Arma 2 OA beta ending in 825---sorted out now?

There was an issue with one of the server side scripts that is fixed by removing a line. Servers that do not have this fix will kick players with the latest beta patch installed. Some servers have not applied the fix. UK8 has the current beta patch AND the script fix ;) -
How are you getting swarmed by zombies upon spawn? You spawn on he coast where no zombies are.

Its set to restart every four hours at the moment, but it should be right back up after.

It's risk v reward really. There are some nice places to loot in Cherno and Elektro, but all the other freshly spawned players know that too. So it is far more risky. Take my advice and travel up the east coast to Berezino, it has two shops, several apartments, a dock, barns, resturant and even a hospital. All the trappings of Cherno and Elektro with a fraction of the player population. The map can be edited, but they can only add new buildings and not remove old ones. I should imagine eventually with ARMA III Chernarus will have more enterable buildings but that's a guess. -

From what I understand they would have to create a whole new map from scratch if they wanted more buildings enterable. Simply because any item on the default Chernarus map cannot be removed. You soon learn which buildings are enterable. I also hear ARMA III will allow entry on all buildings. Also spawns are all along the coast (up to about half way up the East coast) that is alot of area to spawn. The Cherno / Elektro behaviour is just because they are the most easily accessable big towns on the map. I believe that no matter where you spawn, people will continue to frequent these places. -
