False, our tents have been fine. Sometimes if you are unlucky and the tents do not save properly before a server crash you may loose the contents

I think it's just to easy to get there or do you disagree on that ? Why the hell should it *not* be easy to walk north? This isn't an MMO, there is no progression. Going north is a decision not a level up, most choose to stay in the south which makes the south more dangerous than the north.

The reward for traveling north is not getting shot at so much for your trouble.

Lower your rifle (doube tap ctrl), crouch and face down, then use alt to look upwards. The results are hilarious :P

Hello everyone. Our apologies for the server being down most of yesterday and all of today. We are having severe hive connection issues resulting in an "Server is out of date" message. We are currently having the server imported into the new system and hope this resolves the issue. We hope to be back online tonight or Friday. Thanks!

To have a second character you need a second GUID. To get a second GUID you need to buy another copy of ARMA II CO. That is how it is, end of story.

There is a car that looks usable but cannot be interacted with. However next to it a GAZ or a Skoda spawns. Quite a clever place to hide a working car, among broken ones. :P

Don't try to fill from the pumps, you need to fill from the large tanks (not all petrol stations have them annoyingly)

We found a GAZ a couple of days ago. The storage is in an odd place, you need to prone next to the left side of the car and look at the rear wheel. This sounds crazy I know but thats where the storage option is triggered! It explains why there was nothing stored in the GAZ when we found it XD

Game runs fine for me on an i7, occasionally the FPS drops to rubbish levels but I think that is more of a memory leak issue on DayZ's part.

Are you insane? The 7 day inactivity rule is more fair, gives people a chance to keep their hard earned vehicles. However I agree, nothing should save off the map. Everyone should run the risk of having their hiding places discovered. The fact that people are allowed to drive 40km off the map to hide their stuff boggles my mind.

We have a server that was one of the last 'old' servers and we have found freshly spawned heuys recently.
