So this weekend we have been harassed by the same group of people. They "happen" to come across our camps minutes after we set up (in drastically different places). They turn up in the same blue minibus and start to steal our stuff. These men are also dressed in priest outfits... Also we've been ambushed by invisible men carrying M4 SDs... If the logs could tell us who killed who I could ban these cheaters easily. At the moment all the logs do is tell us who runs what scripts, really not all that helpful for stopping these people. We need these logs to give us more useful information so we can administrate our servers more effectively. Anyone with me?

Tents are fully working in game, they are tricky to place but if you keep trying it will eventually go down.

It kicks people who it detects running certain commands (5 and above I think) and logs the usage in the scripts.log file. However as it stands this file logs alot of harmless data that is impossible to trawl through by hand.

This is simply not true. We run a fully up to date server and we have repairable helicopters spawning, currently we know of one squad opperating a working Huey. Chopper activation is tied to a server's instance ID / mission file AFAIK, the older servers have this enabled. Newer servers do not and probably will not until the devs fix the issues with aircraft.

No one can help you unless you give more information. What server and what was the ban reason that it tells you?

You hacked, just admit it and enjoy your global ban. BE does not give false positives, the evidence it collects is very clear.

I see, so the detection script defines what gets logged in scripts.log The problem is, a lot of data gets written to that log that is of course harmless things being done by DayZ itself. Has anyone got a modified detection script that reduces these? It would be usefull to have something that works in the oposite way, so we could exclude lines of scripts that we know are ok (like handleGear.sqf)

Not strictly true mate, the older servers have respawning fixable choppers. Ours certainly does (we've repaired 3) :P

We have a camp full of tents that survive resets, the only time we lost stuff was when we were loading up just before a server crash. But everything else, when saved propperly (save tent like you have OCD) is fine.
