    I agree, it should be per server based. But at the minute it isn't and chances are it will never be as it seems Rocket wants to keep all his eggs in one basket. I think they are worried that the second servers become independent from the main database, people will just start chopping and hacking the game as they see fit and Rocket would lose any real control over his mod. Double edged sword unfortunately.

    What about a yawn, as they are waking up from their spawny sleep. =D This would so be abused. I'm in town and I want to get out of town fast. Log off log back in again, bam! I'm out of town. Same goes for barricaded houses. People would simply barricade houses and switch to another server just to grief, much like how wire fences are being used now.

    The Pvp Problem.

    I don't think there is a problem with pvp per se. I think the issue is players who systematically camp high loot zones simply to get kills. Now I know I'm going to be jumped on by the reality mongers here for making this suggestion but I feel it would perhaps reduce this camping mentality a little. When a player makes a kill their last known location i.e. the place they made the kill, is pinned on the map. Depending on how many kills they have, their location will be repined every X amount of seconds until they are X amount of meters away from the original kill point. These X figures would increase with their murders. So the more murders you make the more visible you are on the map to others when you commit a murder. The pinned marker would get more and more opaque the further away from last known point was. Yes I know this isn't very realistic but this would certainly reduce this camping for kills mentality.

    I'd have to slightly disagree. The more rotten a corpse the less there is to shoot. Harder to hit, mainly bone and sinew. I do agree though that slower zeds should perhaps have higher resistance so people are more inclined to head shot.

    Have a suggestion leaderboard.

    This is a great idea, this would also cut down on the same common suggestions being posted again as people could just look at the top list.

    Please wipe everything

    I roll with a few other players and we are all of the opinion that there should be a server wipe. We find way too many cheat boxes and it's clear to see the game has been injected with way too much hacked in and duped gear. The database should definitely be wiped, but after they have fixed the issues of duping and hacked in items. We do need to even the playing field once again. This has my vote!

    I would prefer to see more zombies over players, especially with the current size of the map.
  12. Title said it all. Weapon condition, badly maintained weapons will jam, be less accurate. There could even be a skill level increase for weapon repair, the more you repair the better you get at it. This would be an even bigger incentive to staying alive longer. Especially for those with more rare weapons.

    Sorry but I think you miss the point. Challenge is irrelevant, it's the style of game play. Dayz isn't suppose to be a PVP based game. You're clearly looking at it with a them vs us mentality much like how most players of COD and BF3 genre of games promote. The arma game engine as a whole doesn't play on that concept. Arma is more of a game of chess rather than a game of tennis. Unlike said FPS games, arma is 90% planning and 10% action, much like the analogical game of chess.

    New Zombie map (Namalsk island)

    Love the idea of a new map, I also think with the advent of bigger player numbers in pending updates the maps need to be bigger too. I would also love to see more dedicated dayz content. Boarded up windows on buildings, no looting signs on shops, burnt out buildings. CDC style units setup around the big towns.

    Have to agree with this part too after some forethought. Perhaps instead of total reset of repair skill after death, a percentage lost. You lose 25% of your skill advancement, or something along those lines.

    One mans exploit is another mans tactical advantage, live with it, learn to adapt or die. Notice I put "tactical" advantage as this game is a "tactical" shooter. I use the 3rd person mode for all you have said and more. It's an element of this genre of game. I use third person mode to not only look around corners and see through walls but I also use it to survey the field, check where team members are and acquire targets quickly. If you cannot live with a third person mode which is a core element of a tactical shooter of this kind then you're probably better off suited COD or BF3.

    Ammo for rare guns.

    I think a few crashed military supply trucks randomly spawning around the map much like the helis with ammo in would be suffice. Script is already in the game, just need an overturned truck model instead of a heli husk. Same goes for medical supplies. Randomly place overturned ambulances around the map, again much like helis but these would have morphine, bloodpacks, antibiotics and painkillers. Could even have the odd abandoned grocery truck crashed into a hedge at the sides of roads with tin cans and drinks. These would all be at the same spawn rate at the helis, but it would be nice to find these scattered about. I also think vehicles need to be randomly spawned in different locations instead of their current fixed locations. I think all my above suggestions are more fitting for us players who prefer to explore and want to be rewarded for it and not have to enter towns and cities filled with COD bandits wanting a game of deathmatch.

    Looting your own dead body

    I like to this of this as a "get out of jail free card" There are many things that could affect you getting your gear back from your corpse. Someone else could find it and loot it. You don't get back to your body in time. You get killed and have to respawn which causes your previous body to disappear. Also running from spawn with absolutely nothing to far into the map isn't as easy as you make out, depending on where you die. Being shot at by others or pulling zeds without a weapon can be a real kicker, not to mention if you can't find food or drink while searching for your corpse. Also this wouldn't have any effect on players in groups as they can simple get their friends to loot the body. The only thing I would suggest would be to make player corpses sink sooner. I think the current time is 15 minutes which is enough time for someone to sprint cfrom one side of the map to the other.

    Ambulance Spawns and/or 2-3 More Hospitals.

    I actually thought about random ambulance spawns too, but I also thought it would be nice to have crashed military trucks and perhaps abandoned or crashed grocery vans that drop food etc.

    Humanity System - Rocket, have a minute?

    I prefer the current heart beat system to be honest. Arm bands seem more like badge of merit for bandits which is something that we don't want. You can imagine bandits parading around with their armbands. I think bandits should be penalized for murder and the heart beat is a very effective way to do so. At the end of the day we are trying to discourage murder and this current system is the most effective way of doing so without hindering game play. I would even go further and add a nervous/guilt to bandits, where the player would sweat and breath harder causing the player to be more easily detected by zombies through their odor and noise from breathing. This could be simulated by reducing their ability to not be seen or heard.

    No Spawning in "Hot Spots"

    I like this idea but have another suggestion for it. How about having hot spots around towns and cities where if the player logs out there, their character stays in game for 5 minutes. They will not be able to join another server until the 5 minutes is up or if they log back in and move their character out of the zone and log back out again. A simple small HUD icon telling the player if they are in a safe de-spawn area or not would be suffice.

    Contradiction in it...duplicating items is glitching/hacking . it is having an unfair advantages... And i won't support this sort of game...duplicating is not a mechanic of the game , it's a bug trying to be solved...so you duplicate... I hunt you and that's all. It isn't an "unfair" advantage because EVERYONE can do it until it's patched out and as you can see everyone has been doing it. When you restart the server to get rollback for your items, that's an unfair advantage as only server admins have that ability and they clearly exploit it.
