I really like the new visual update. There's a memory error though when one exits the game. The error is: The instruction at 0x1ff00000 referenced memory at 0x1ff00000. The memory could not be written. And..... just going further, is there any chance we could encounter a bear in game? and is there any chance more loot can be spawned or the spawning system be fixed so that new items spawn in different places more often, even if it's just pistols and ammo for these? All the doors to about 98% of the house are wide open, which either means it was to fix that door bug or other players have taken all the good stuff. It's really annoying running around for 2hrs only to find a head band or something like a plastic bottle.

we just need to be patient. The news will come. -
nice update, so I tried crouching my way through a town past some zombies and it was really nice sneaking through town, until one spotted me, so I ran to a field, which was close by and i received my first whallop which was like WOW OW, that sound is loud, I knew i had been whalloped. It was quite a surprise, I can't say I heard all the swipes but I knew i had been hit. The sound is loud and kinda nice, it gets one kinda worked up trying to either get away or fight back. The zombies kinda seem more dangerous or scary now. I must say I had to take a couple screenshots because the game looks really nice when the sun is coming out and you're running through the countryside in a valley near some river. I think if we can get some dust particles and debris flying around, the game is really going to feel immersive. Especially if it rains really hard and one cannot see a thing in front of you.

just some thoughts on my experience so far: - finding both weapons, magazines and ammo for those weapons is a real pain. It's kind of pointless carrying on if you can see a town has already been looted by other players before you. It takes away a bit of the thrill and the challenge. - If players could be get geared up a bit quicker with arms and ammunition, I think the map would feel a lot more alive, as you would hear gun shots all over and it would certainly spice things up instead of running around aimlessly around the map only to die or find nothing or any players. Is this going to be fixed? I mean if you run to a military base you would expect to find a lot more arms and ammunition lying around to be had for the taking. I remember running into one of the bases and all I could find was some basic med kits and jackets. No guns' or ammo, just nothing to create some excitement.

would be nice to see damage indicators of weapons in the inventory.

This happened to me two days ago with an apple tree, i literally saw like 12 apples when i pressed tab at a tree.

After the update, I literally can't play with the lag now, my character is bouncing all over the map. What would be nice though is to add some more atmosphere to the game, like dust and wind effects, this would make the game really immersive. But as far as the lag goes, something changed, I have always been able to play on international servers without to many problems, but at the moment my character is flying all over the place.

-make running up hills a bit less realistic, at the moment it feels like such a drag -ability to jump over walls and fences, just like the zombies without getting injured -digging and making trenches or underground hideouts like the op said would be interesting if it is possible -better, more responsive animations when hitting zombies -make the animations for searching for apples, sticks, stones, quicker -if a player falls from height and they have a backpack on, I know this sounds far fetched but perhaps they could take their backpack off mid air and use it to land on

Now that you mention it, our pings were probably between 260 to 350ms, this might explain why we were having a problem with soft sounds and desyncs etc. I suppose it might be better to play on the standard 0.60 version, than on the test version for now because of the delay on the experimental test servers overseas. From what i've seen so far on the exp 0.61 version, it may actually be quite good when it comes out, if the reason we are battling is the high ping. Also if the connection to the servers is using the UDP protocol, it's probably why some packets are being lost and not updating either the server or the client. Perhaps there could be a bit more code added here to resend some of the packets a couple of times just to ensure the crucial aspects on both sides are updated accordingly.

some feedback on x64 bit 0.61: -> I noticed my friends face still showing as a black blank face, the rest of the body appears to have all the textures applied. -> Still experiencing major problems with desync(so i am told by my friends and experienced first hand), i.e. when trying to use an axe, to make a fire place, and you drop a rifle, then come back to try pick it up, it is either not visible to one player, or it cannot be picked up or dragged to the inventory. Also, sometimes dragging items into the quick bar doesn't always work, probably part of the same problem. -> when swipping attacking zombies with an axe, the swipes seem delayed. It seemed the other night when the x64bit first came out, the moves seemed smoother, not sure if its because the server wasn't full or what, but somehow things seem laggy. ->the graphics looks really nice at the moment, especially early morning near a valley. ->it would be nice if the required gear for a weapon could be found in the immediate vicinity, else one finds oneself running around with half the gear not being usable, but i suppose that's just person preference. ->zombie encounters are becoming more interesting, pity the sounds are still very soft. ->general sound issues. i.e. sounds are soft, known issue. ->general moving of items around in inventory is a bit cumbersome, i.e. the inventory position doesn't update easily when moving things around, it seems slow.
