Odd...I haven't had any issues surviving or finding any gear with the new update. I actually have a harder time surviving against snipers than anything. Don't even know why people are bitching and crying so much about not having a gun when you spawn. If you are having issues I suggest you go on a populated server, it'll be easier to forage.

Playing at night is more exhilarating. Playing in pitch black is not. There's a huge difference there. With the moon and stars there should still be some visibility, not utter darkness where you can't even see your damn hands. Even though I do enjoy rummaging around in darkness at night and hearing zeds all around me, I still think there should be some type of adjustment.
