I always log off inside a building with all the doors closed and no zombies in sight. Yet for some reason when I log back in a day later my character has somehow died? It didn't use to do that. What's going on?

That's what I thought. But I used the browser and found a daytime only server. Then the next time I hit play and I got into a server that it was nighttime.

I usually just hit the play button when I start it up. And no to the agro. I make sure nothing is around and I'm relatively safe. I've never even seen a wolf before.

I'm thinking about buying dayz. I'm just wondering how hard loot is to come by? Dieing doesn't bother me but is it going to take forever to get a new gun and ammo? I play george romero's aftermath and it's easy to build your inventory back up if you die. It also has a bank to save some stuff if you die. Is there anything like that in dayz?

Well I decided I would just buy the stand alone. If I hate it I'll just take a break from it for a while and maybe after a few updates things will be better when I come back to it.
