No, never, sorry, this is a survival game, just giving people a safe spot for no reason is not gonna work well bandits will camp it, farm the AI guards, and snipe the entrance badly (hell, i would do it if they wouldnt) that "safe zone" would be the entirely most dangerous place on the game, lol... just set up a camp for yourself and try to protect it

Zombies zig-zag around you like crazy olympic gus on speed, yeah, its impossible to aim at them while they run at you, well, almost impossible make them slower, just as fast as the player when normally running, and give them the ability to hut you whule they are running also, mix zombie types (slow zombies which hit you for extreme amounts of damage, 1,5k or something, the current hopper zombies seem to be ok, and the fast zombies able to hit you while running, but making less damage and no chance of breaking your bon, or at least a very small one)

Oh god please no, zombies seem to have some sense of who is zombie or not, dont nerf zombies even more! they pose no threat in any way at the time, walking inside buildings is the main problem... and yes i guess there will be a dicussion of "why do zombies see survivors as enemys? hurdurr" because its a zombie game with guns, where zombie are supposed to be a human-with-rage threat, and not supposed to be dumb like shit its a terrible idea, and will make the game way too easy, learn to sneak through zombies -
tents as storage is a good way to store stuff, sleeping should require you to logg off for two hours or more to recover some blood imo but i really like that idea of hiding stuff underground, just be sure to know where your stash is, or else you have a problem also, maximum of one stash per character so the master server wont get KIA

No, im against this, nobody will be able to revive you in RL when you have taken three shots in the torso (maybe ounctured both lungs, good luck surviving that) defibs only work when every other is is takien care of, you cant just jolt someone with a few thousands of volt and they magically come back to live with no gunshot wounds...

Bumpy I totally agree, zombies need to be the main threat in dayZ, not only to keep people entertained, but also to make deathmatching not that important Let zombies spawn in forrests, make them stronger, but let you get them off of you (since without a weapon you need that) maybe make them slower, but then let them actually hit you when they can run its DayZ, not DayDeathmatch -

wow guys, learn to play, seriously, the zombies arent a big problemat the start, you just outrun them and lose them in a building, you can get a weapon in a few minutes... really, its not that hard at all -

there a few games giving you a real kick when killing another player, (I only know of two, Eve Online and DayZ) You wont be statisfied by just one, trust me ;)

I lately saw a thread about using server hopping against snipers in cherno or electro, sure those are some of the lowest kind of bandits, sniping newly spawned players without defense, but using ghosting against them makes even a normally friendly survivor being a bigger asshole than the sniper I have read some post from rocket about fixing combat logging and how easy it were to fix, still waiting for that to happen...

i dont find it that bad, of course with small houses you cant walk with your gun pointing sideways through a door and maintain aim, your gun would have to clip through the doorway then

I say make the zeds faster in rooms and houses, and make them spawn way more in elektro cherno and stary sobor getting zeds off of you is pretty much required, since you need to get them off of you without a weapon, and since they can swim, climb ladders and go up stairs, removing that possibility means death when spotted by ONE

First thing i am ,when i need to eat, is getting hungry... dont know how your body works, mate and as said, feelings need to be made clear to the player, how are you gonna know your character is cold/hot hungry/thirsty near death else? come up with an idea, dont just whine that its not good enough for you Yet, the first two options are more for money-making and selling a complete game Not everyone has the funds for such a thing, nor the knowledge of creating an entire engine from nothing I didnt pay for dayZ, if you did, you did something wrong And OF COURSE i have a tunneled vision, because im against you... lol -

I couldn't imagine any game being more in the direction of survival than the arma engine, actually, no engine i know of can handle an area that large (counter strike engine, are you fucking kidding me? source engine or the old HL engine couldn't handle an area larger than an average airfield) and having that good pings while still having bullet drop, force reduction for every projectile and a decent amount of weapon realism of course, you arent the experienced soldier you play in arma2, but i think bringing more realism into the gun mechanics is not a top priority, go play ace ffs if you want that creating a grappling-system and tackle/wrestling system in this game... yeah you better start programming now, maybe you're done in 2 years, and then debugging begins and go ahead and ask for the BF3 source code, lol.. they'll laugh at you forever as to the symbols on the side, yes they are needed, how would you tell if you're hungry otherwise? you aren't the person in the game, and certain feelings like hunger/thirst need to be expressed to the player Theres only so much a programmer can do, i dont think you ever programmed a 3d model from scratch, or modded a complex game before, so until you can do better, STFU you're doing great rocket and team, keep it up! -
An enfield with a scope... utterly terrifying m1911 with silencer would be cool, too but finding silencers/scopes randomly seems odd, well, i guess so is fnding intact weapons at a heli crash site...^^ +1 from me

Erstmal: das hier ist ein Englisches Forum, also sprich englisch zweitens: die Banditen-Mechanik wurde aus dem Spiel entfernt, du kannst höchstens nen Ghillie suit oder camo klamotten finden (For the english users: First off: This is an english forum, so speak english second: The bandit system was removed, you can only find ghillie suits or camo clothing) -
if you create a shortage, the horders will get even worse, and the casual non-clan player will have it even harder to survive -1

+1 I once suggested that water thing, but the thread is now the 345th or something similar Both good ideas, since animals are kind of rare, and a box of matches is something i'd prefer over finding an AKM (pretty rare) wouldn't make it too easy to survive Finding water can be a real pain, and dehydrating while standing in a pond of perfectly clear water makes no sense to me -

Actually it would even help people logging off to get to safety, imagine you are fighting pvp in a city and your opponent loggs out and in again, and is somewhere in the woods around the city... -
