i guess he means hes about to update, which results in 5000 people logging on, going to their main servers and rushing to the helicopter spawns resulting in a LOT of blood and explosions

theres so much wrong with that... raging person not able to take 5 minutes to write things with concentration talking about low intelligence using the words "ur barely mind status" ? btw my mother language isn't english either, but at least you could refrain from becoming insulting just because someone criticizes your writings

the arma 2 guys patched the weapons damage, check dayZ db for more info

there ARE no five seconds and its not in the patch notes either

thats because of the patch the arma 2 guys did, and has nothing to do with the dayZ team, get yourfacts right before rambling

no 5 seconds timer as far as i can see here...

never actually saw the 5 seconds timer work, also jumping into cover and clicking abort then 5 sec till complete safety is still way too easy if the 5sec timer WOULD work i always just see people instantly disappearing when they hear a shot next to them, not taking 5 seconds to logg out, if you can prove otherwise, show me alt+f4ing is one of the most annoying things in the game, along with unlimited ammo and ghosting

well, if this login timer actually works the way that other players allready can see and shoot you while you are not able to do anything yet, that would prevent ghosting an make server hopping way more dangerous, but alt+f4ing would be still the best tactic if under attack by zombies or players

i really hope unlimited ammo will be fixed soon, im tired of people spray 'n praying with guns like FN FALs and SD M4s

the patch will come three days ago, just be patient for the universe to destroy and build itself again, in the next timeline, we will get the update

theres a log out timer of 5 secs afaik, but making it longer results in buggy behavior (people being in the game though they disconnected long ago etc.)

sounds good, but i dont think it will stop people from alt+f4ing in danger, if it is only a penalty affecting your log in time it will make it harder to ghost people though edit: cant there be a message saying who logs in and out? at least that way we can identify alt+f4 people and ghosters when they are doing so...

actually, its pretty dangerous, since you need to get close to the zombie, the ultimate zombie killing tool is a SD M4 the hatchet being a melee weapon, you are always in danger of a zombie hitting you, since the zombies also run at you while dieing (even when indoors), and often manage to hit you while falling to the ground, maybe even knocking you out when under 9k blood without the stuff to regain blood (hatchet,knife,matches) using an axe is VERY dangerous -

yes, but when a zombie is right in front of you and you have no hatchet nor ammo... would you run away or hit the thing with your gun a few tmes? -

good idea, i'd see melee rifle attacks being able, too why use a hatchet if you have an ak 74 just as sturdy? -

yes, zombies need to be dangerous, right now they are only annoying, just run far enough and you can find a building in which you can either DC or kill them all with an axe without danger to make zombies a real threat, they should: 1)make zombies able to hit you while running 2)make zombies able to run indoors since 2) is an arma engine issue, the first could be done i'm sure -
Trying to make a BIG poll here, since i think zombies need a lot of tweaking, hopefuly the poll works the way i intend to take your time, i guess i covered it all pretty much... and please when you vote write a small answer, since the topic will be lost in suggestion forum hell otherwise Edit: Added option "Zombies need to be tougher (more HP) and deleted the doubled "Zombies are fine" option
