wtf, using hacked guns can result in a ban people, it happened before you can even get banned for using a vehicle spawned in dont use hacked guns, just *hide body* when you see a body with one everything thats in dayZ is legit, if you know the gun is hacked, you can get banned

zombies are way to easy, its ridiculous they pose no threat at all for experienced players with more than two braincells

agreed, with duping going on, people are ONLY running around with L85, ghillie and an as50 i died yestarday and found a camp with 25 ghillies just a few meters away from zelenogorsk, i died while carrying 18 ghillies from another camp i found near black lake.... they werent even big camps so it definitely was duping i really hope duping will get fixed... or at least give us equipment eating bugs agains instead of equipment creating bugs, they were way better

what do you mean by "dont go prone in a ghillie in the middle of a field"? it pretty much makes you invisible from over 200 meters and very hard to see even when an enemy is 50 m away, most people dont see a ghilliesuit player 2 meters in front of them if proning and not moving, you also sink into the grass cover (the thing covering players when you are out of grass render range) just remembers to look down when proning, or you'll look like a seal praying

ok, so i've been looking the past week for vehicles, never to find one except for some broken bus when this weekend the helicopters came out, my mates and i made some flies over the map, actually about 3 hours of flight and no vehicles still i found an awfull lot of tent camps, near obvious spots in the map like Guba or pobeda dam, also i walked around almost the whole map... just trying to state how much time i invested somehow, after checking every spawning spot fr vehicles available on dayZDB and checking every bigger encampment i could find, i didnt even find a damn bicycle i even checked the whole (!) coastline from down west from kamenka up to the north from guba, and i didnt find the motorboat (the fast one) i even checked on every island while doing that how can a boat not spawn at the coast?^^ is it just me, or are vehicle spawns bugged or still able to be saved outside of the map or something?

you can split dmr ammo into m24 ammo, meaning you can keep 4 m24 clips with a single item slot in your backpack...

mhh lets see... a rifle with about the accuracy as an assault rifle, just with a scope, or the most accurate rifle in all of dayZ with an effective range of 800 meters... i tend to get the later, but i'm a M24 fanboy and also like the CZ550 (almost the same), but i like the dmr when i find one

looks more like someone sniped your heli out of the air with an as50 or similar also, what should rocket do against a problem related with the internet connection? desync means you guys have lost connection to the server, not that dayZ couldn't sync with the hive... numbnut this is, if at all, a problem from arma 2 or your own internet connection, or the server being rubbish or restarted /crashed

finding vehicles is the end game dude, also having people to play with over ts3 orsimilar, if you play alone, its geting boring quite fast, but thats in every game the same oh yes, please QQ some more about the most awesome part of the game

So yesterday on my favorite server, there were some weird happenings including a bunch of people getting killed at pobeda dam, to arive there 5 minutes later again with full equip i asked some of my mates and they said cheaters were free to go atm because they can fake their arma2 cd key or ID, or can completely work around the scripting logs the servers are writing So, does anyone know of a fact what dayZ cheaters can do such a thing? until yesterday i never saw a cheater myself, well, alive at least, saw some hacked in guns in bodies but not more as far as i know, cheaters can: -Toggle god mode -spawn stuff in -teleport around -see where vehicles/players/tents are -nuke a server is there anything i am missing? can cheaters actually protect themselfes from getting punished completely? sounds like a lot of BS to me if they actually can...

Yesterday we were hauling some big piles of loot to our camp, as the server suddenly restarted and our car got ported back to where we were saving it the last time(a hell of a lot kms away), i was in the middle of nowhere, seems like the server couldnt transfer my loc data to the master server, and basically all just because of an un announced server restart, is it so hard to make a script that says 5 minutes in advance when the server gets to restart?

sure, but adding random scripted shit like levels or boss mobs will make that even worse i am all for more stuff to do, but nothing scripted or pre-worked, keep this a sandbox survival game! make your own god damn stories, dont be as boring and unimaginative as the standart player today, expecting to have every background story prebuild, every path possible having a reward, every npc having a purpose or giving xp, those are all just lame excuses of making a boring game addictive i find the pvp and general play in dayZ really addictive as it is, the only other game giving that feeling of continuous paranoia and survival excitement is EVE online

yes you wouldnt be able yourself to tell your temperature in °C right now would you? just be sure to run around when its night and raining, and when your temperature symbols stars blinkin or even starts getting hollow, you better get your ass to a fireplace or some heatpacks

a few days ago i did someone very mean... i found a beartrap, my first one to find (found it in a big barn) a few hours later, checking places where tents are likely to be, i found one with NVGs, an M4CCO SD and someother cool stuff of course, i took it, and i made sure i took all his morphine, too: The tent was hidden between three pine trees, nearly completely covering it, so i placed a beartrap right in front of the tent, and moved a few ten meters away and waited... since i always play with something to drink and to watch besides, i had no reason to rush about 3 hours later, i saw movement in my eyecorner, the owner of the tent what it seems (he had a ghillie suit) moved to his tent... and suddenly was forced to prone the beartrap broke his legs, and since he had no morphine on him, he was helpless i stalked him some more, since he placed his tent god-knows-where at the last place on earth, he had a way to crawl right when he was about to hit a town (zelenogorsk i think) i threw a smoke grenade besides him not of a big deal, but that idiot started to shoot the zombies running into his direction, which made the zombies aggro HIM, followed by his death once he was gone, i took the rest of the stuff out of his tent and placed it a few meters away, so it could despawn in a few minutes... if the victim reads this: it was jut too damn fun, and simply killing you wouldn't have been enough
