guys, getting global banned for a353 or c565 or any other unreadable code seems to be a bug, just wait for BE to solve it, theres not much else you people can do, spamming the forum doesnt force BE to anything, they get paid anyway

i once was kicked by battleye because of a new beta update, where something with ammo count was changed, yet it never said to me "global ban" or anything similar i was only able to join after BE was updated, could be that case with a wrong error message seeing the mass ban of ten thousand players, a few raging real hackers sure will hop on the train i hope BE can differ between bugged kicks or bans and legit ones, if this is the case

i'm still going with the "dayZ hackers didnt expect to be banned" theory BE had a "better safe than sorry" approach on banning people until now, thats why there were so many hackers and still are, i dont think they would now rageban too many all of a sudden seems like they plugged a hole to me and the oh-so clever cheaters expect to get unbanned with a mass protest since "the majority of people is always right" seems to be a legit point nowadays

i once encountered a sniper in elektro sitting on the firestation, shooting at me i had no weapon, but found a smoke grenade one chance, one throw, and i hit the top of the firestation tower originally i planned on luring zombies there, instead the whole building collapsed O.o

i think some hackers didn't know about the ban waves battleye rolls out every now and then, when hackers aren't immediately found out and they seem to cry, boy do they the chance of getting a key that has been spoofed out of sheer randomness is close to zero, even with one million players, and even if you got that key, the guys from battleye and bohemia can see, if they care, if the key was allready used for a copy or not do the math, how many didgets has a cd key? 12-16. how many possibilities using all numbers and all letters of the alphabet? with 12 didgets, its allready a chance from over 1 to 1*10^19, minus the mask of possibilities not valid for a cd key still, its an awfull small chance, and i dont think hackers or cheaters would refrain from crying like a little b*tch if they got caught and swear to be "legit players"

Will arma 3 engine be plagued by hackers too?

simply put no rocket had only normal scripting possibilities with dayZmod, equal to the possibilities of the hackers, with the standalone, he will have full control over the engine bohemia will give him, since he will be the leading developer of a game from bohemia he will be able to restrict scripting from clients, both over BattleEye and his changes to the engine, maybe the servers wont allow scripting from clients at all, and he will give scripting acces only to the server and the admin through the server hackers will find a way, though maybe not as outrageous often or easy or obvious as in arma2, but trust me, one or two will come along someday, the only thing we can hope for is a tool for the server admins they can identify and ban hackers for all time with i will definitely buy the standalone, to play, to help with bug reports and suggestions, and with some moral boost for rocket if i can, since i think he has the right idea i only hope that bohemia wont force him to add any of the stupid addicting stuff every game on the internet relies on, like levelling or other artificial progress not gained by the players experience itself, since this is what makes the game so much more interesting for me than any other game at the moment -

yes, we need green mountain in the standalone, so nice and utter supid stories behind it, yet i myself have experienced weird happenings up there... i still tend to travel in a large circle arond it at night -

seriously, if i in RL would find a tent in a zombie apocalypse with a lock on the zipper, i'd just rip apart the zipper or cut the tent open... ok, its a suggestion thread so be it, but just wanting lockable stuff because you want a safe stash is not in the atmosphere or playstyle of dayZ might as well just lock the server and collect stuff all by yourself -
maybe you didnt get baned for that, but because you tried server hopping or something else logging in in a frequent area can be mistaken by some admins kicking for a high ping is legit, but 62 ping is not high at all, weird... just avoid that server then, there are far more to go to i personally never got kicked or banned from a server without reason, so its not that of a big problem to me

arma 2 is not a bad game, even if i dont really like the infantry combat, its a great chopper simulator -
its a very small drop chance, and it only drops on chopper downs... the cause why it is on every player recently is duping

wtf, why make a tent city? of course someone sees it sooner or later if 5-6 tents are placed somewhere, and people KNOW people hide tents in remote places, thats why they search there for it tip: only ONE tent, hidden in one of those little pine tree forrests (with the small pine trees) i have a camp on a server with 40/40 people 24/7, and no one found my camp a single time... its so well hidden you can walk two meters past it and not see it, and its in the middle of the map -

locks? so a player could search for camps, find one, and not be rewarded at all? sounds bad to me, sry just hide your tent accordingly, watch the arma 3 trailer with the areas with tall grass, hiding stuff will be way easier in the standalone i guess -

I really would love to see the standalone having a huge island as a map with a big city in the middle: You would spawn on any side of the maps shores, so you dont know where north is right away The maps off limits would be created through the actual terrain, and not through that weird border we currently have where grass just doesn't spawn Also, high value areas in the center would be way harder to defend, due to possible survivors coming from any direction -

not all hackers are raining buses and cows, some are subtle hackers spawning thermal .50 guns in and snipe your during nighttime with that, or teleport, snipe you then and you have a very suspicious kill, whats bad about reporting it? since they wont be banned for it, people still get informed about that kind of hacking too many people die instantly from hackers and say to themselves "Oh my, guess i'm just bad" and these people get away totally unharmed and victorious -
Hell yeah! i'm gonna be on the gamescom this year, hope you guys have something ready for me

So, leave your opinions, and answer the thread please to keep the topic on top I personally would like a complete big island with a few small islands around it, making the sea the natural limits of the map also you wouldn't have the north/south elite/noob border, but everyone would try to get into the center of the island, where the biggest city next to an airport would be located When you guys can think of other poll choices or ideas, feel free to post them -

everybody knows about the elektro sniping hills, from which mostly all of the city is visible without BEING in the city, that is why it's so easy to snipe secondly, all hotspot areas are nearby, hospital, school, pub and supermarket, all clunched together at one place, making it into a good noob-grinder -
