    this is interesting, finally found some pictures of this.. its definately the same wooden bases we have now in vanilla dayz mod, but the metal bases never stuck in vanilla mod 😞

    A server has popped up claiming to be 1.8.8 My guess is its a fake, but if not I would love to test it! I have pics somewhere of concept art from r4z0r of bases that could help base-building be a bit more unique and fun, such as having the option of stairs instead of ladders and walls with window like battlements. At first the idea of bases make me shudder in disgust, reminding me of epoch--but I was pleasantly surprised at how balanced they could be while adding SO MUCH more content and things to do to keep us addicted. I'm sure there are some here who share my initial disgust of bases, and I hope those still in that position will enjoy discovering the life that new bases and places to explore (and destroy) bring to the ever-changing world of Chernarus..where only one thing stays the same: nothing lasts.
