I've seen the Drum Mags spawn in both the Officer and Troop Barracks bunks, as well as the SVD. Typically, you could find a Bipod in any military tent, guard tower, barracks, helos and even the hangers... But nada lately. The interesting part is I've seen mostly-empty/completely-empty military tents right off restarts which suggests the bipod, and other item files, are not being correctly referenced for world insertion.

Early last week jives with the wipe, not necessarily the 'wipe bug' as it was a game-wide update. I lost my cache along with it, and havn't seen a bipod since... This may be anecdotal, however since then I've not found a single bipod at any location even on restarts.

Forget bayonets, I want my Atlas Bipods! Havnt seen those since the last update and I've got a couple dozen weapons waiting for one.

The biggest contributor is long sleeve shirts/jackets/camo. Keeping it in my bag while traveling and until I've needed it and being Soaked or Drenched while using them has eliminated my Hyperthermia/Overheating problem and the associated spam... Simple steps and 10 seconds of your time every once in a while versus sitting around for an hour while Hyper clears... Hmm. That or say to heck with it and just carry an extra water bottle or two - It's not like it can kill you.

As many of us are aware of the newest form of stuck vehicle that seems immune to the historical remedies such as removing/adding tires and the trusty bow and arrow, I've come across this wretched bug when logging in and out near said vehicle only to come back to the car and find myself taking a quick trip to nowhere. I've gone over a few DayZ forums searching for a more reasonable resolution to this other than the two widely accepted ones that pertain to this form of stuck vehicle: Get someone else to drive it or wait for a reset - Neither of which are optimal. Fear not, fellow survivors - I have a tested, reliable workaround for this issue that no longer requires abandoning your precious car or phoning a friend! Should you find yourself a victim of this specific type stuck vehicle, simply get out of the vehicle (Leave the wheels on it) and exit the server. Go to the Character section of the menu and change an attribute of your character (e.g. Change from male to female, etc.), save/apply the change and just hit 'Play' to re-connect to the server. When you load back in you should find your beloved hotrod of choice unstuck and ready to serve once more. Enjoy.
